The Buffalo Bills are giving fans a chance to own a piece of franchise history as they begin selling off items from their old stadium ahead of the move to a new venue. The sale includes a wide range of memorabilia and fixtures, from lockers and pieces of turf to some truly unconventional keepsakes: yes, even bathroom trough urinals.
According to The Sun, many items from the iconic Highmark Stadium will soon be available for purchase as the team prepares to close the book on a venue that has been home to the Bills for more than 50 years. The stadium first opened in 1973 and has hosted decades of unforgettable moments, from playoff runs to snow-covered showdowns that helped define the team’s identity.
With the Bills set to move into a brand-new stadium across the street before the start of the 2026 NFL season, the clear-out marks the final stages of Highmark Stadium’s long goodbye. The new venue will seat 67,000 fans and comes with a hefty price tag of $2.2 billion.
The demand for stadium pieces has been surprisingly strong
The Bills have partnered with sports memorabilia company CollectibleXchange to manage the sales, ensuring the items are authenticated and preserved as legitimate pieces of team history. Overseeing the project is veteran sports marketer Brandon Steiner, who brings extensive experience to the effort.
Steiner has previously led similar stadium cleanouts at iconic venues such as Yankee Stadium and Madison Square Garden, where fans eagerly snapped up everything from seats to signage. His involvement adds credibility and structure to the process, as the Bills prepare to close the chapter on their longtime home and move toward a new era.
Steiner said that more people want to buy these items than anyone expected. “People want those troughs,” Steiner said. “They want that kind of stuff, so we’ll make that available. You’re talking about Buffalo, and people take a lot of pride in the stadium.” In other NFL news, there have been frantic 911 calls from a recent plane crash that shocked the sports world.
More than 12,000 orders have already been placed by fans. One seat plus a piece of turf costs $549. Parts of the stadium’s goalposts are being sold for $100 each. The Bills plan to release new products for sale throughout 2026.
Some items will also be available through auctions. There is a small chance the Bills might play one last game at the original Highmark Stadium before moving. Meanwhile, a coach recently received presidential endorsement after leaving his longtime position.
