F1 25 is Now Available on Xbox Game Pass

It's hammer time!

Xbox Game Pass has been an underrated boon for accessing your favorite sports titles in a relatively affordable way. Games like the recent Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remakes and EA Sports WRC thrive on the platform, and EA Sports F1 25 is looking to join the list of Game Pass sports titles. Ahead of Season 6, the official Xbox website confirms that F1 25 will be available on the Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of Xbox Game Pass. You can play it if you have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, but PC users only need to have the PC Game Pass version.

This version of the game also immediately grants you a 5,000 XP Boost, as long as you download and claim it before March 31. There won’t be an F1 26 this year, as EA is looking to expand F1 25 with DLC while dedicating more resources to make the eventual F1 27 truly feel like a revamp. This is great news for Game Pass subscribers, as you’re getting a game that will be continually updated throughout the year.

Last year, Xbox Game Pass subscriptions saw a massive 50% increase in price for Game Pass Ultimate, the highest tier. This threw the value proposition into question, and a lot of people ended up canceling their subscriptions in protest.

Now, I’m not saying that paying $360/year for Game Pass Ultimate is feasible or worth it for everyone, but with all the great titles on offer, it is at least worth considering.

If you play a lot of sports titles, Game Pass Ultimate isn’t a bad way of getting access to them. You get EA WRC, F1 25, Forza Motorsport, and even the upcoming Forza Horizon 6. The service still offers a lot of value if you like experimenting with different games every month.

Other than sports titles, Xbox Game Pass is also adding Final Fantasy III, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (one of the best games from 2025), Cyberpunk 2077, and Planet of Lana II. Quite a good month for Game Pass subscribers.
