F1 2017 Gameplay Trailer - Monaco Circuit at Night, Classic Cars and More

Codemasters have released their latest F1 2017 gameplay trailer, showcasing how the game spans the history of the sport and highlights several new features. In addition to the thrilling new and nostalgic cars, keen observers will notice that players can now race the iconic street circuit in Monaco at night for the first time in the series. F1 2017 not only allows players to drive the latest cars on the grid, but also gives them access to 12 iconic classics.

In addition to the 20 official circuits from the current season, and Monaco at night, players can also take on four brand new short circuits at Britain, Bahrain, the United States and a soon-to-be-announced track.

F1 2017 releases onto PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam worldwide on August 25. Fans that pre-order or purchase ‘Day One’ copies of F1 2017 will have exclusive access to the iconic 1988 McLaren MP4/4, as part of the ‘F1 2017 Special Edition.’ Alternatively, the McLaren MP4/4 car will be available to be purchased at a later date. The 11 other classic cars are available in all editions of the game.

  1. Beautiful. Absolutely stunning. As in the past couple of years, this is a must buy for me. I didnt get to play the 2016 game as much as I'd have liked with so many other games taking up alot of my time, but it's a fantastic looking, and driving racing game, ALWAYS.
I hope the Nascar Heat devs will take notice. This is what a top racing series game should look like, and play like. Everything about the F1 series is fantastic. The visuals. The sounds. The environments. The accuracy and detail of the tracks. The grip levels changing in and out of the groove, and changing as you pick up marbles or grass on the tires. Everything about this game is spot on, and fantastic IMO.
Codesmasters have finally realised what makes a definitive racing sim. The likes of Forza & Gran Turismo cater for a more widespread racing dynamic. When it comes to a game based on a single franchise nothing now comes close to the F1 series. This has been my no.1 racing for the past year & I expect it to be the same for the next.
All true, and I played 2016 a lot no matter what other games were on my plate.
One of my favorite aspects of 2016 not yet mentioned were the amazing race replays. I loved sitting back and watching the race is just ran. I'm a sucker for broadcast style replays.

They announced there will be 115 options / upgrades available this year for the R&D tree. This alongside the fact you have to manage engine and gearbox components should make multiple years much more interesting in career mode.
