A new trailer and developer interview for Endurance Motorsport Series recently gave racing fans a closer look at Galeao, one of the game’s fictional circuits created with input from professional GT3, LMP2 and LMPH drivers in Brazil.
The latest entry in the “Meet the Team” series focuses on the developers behind the track, including level designer Mathieu Desmarchelier and level artist Florian Charpentier. The two shared details on how Galeao came together, from early layout concepts to environmental work and gameplay testing. According to the team, creating fictional tracks for the game involves balancing realism, race flow and making sure every section feels right behind the wheel.
The developers talked about the feedback they received from professional drivers during testing. Early versions of the circuit reportedly felt too wide, leading the team to tighten the layout considerably. Adjustments were also made to the curbs after drivers experienced too much vibration while testing the track. Even with the changes, the circuit was said to receive strong feedback overall from those involved in the process.
The full developer interview is available now on the official Steam page for anyone interested in seeing more of the behind-the-scenes process behind Galeao and the rest of the game’s fictional track design.
Endurance Motorsport Series is scheduled to release later this year for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game focuses heavily on endurance racing strategy, requiring players to manage changing weather, race incidents, consistency and multi-class traffic while competing across Hypercars, LMP2 and GT classes from major manufacturers.
