TRACAB’s advanced sports optical tracking technology captures nearly every on-field movement at 60Hz per second, generating 600 million data points per game. It tracks 65 unique data points per player and referee, including live skeleton data from 21 joints, center of mass and ball movement.

This technology can elevate realism, animation and real-time simulation while also providing near-instant insights for media broadcasters, referees, players, coaches and fans.

TRACAB’s volumetric data capture, combined with EA Sports’ game engine, will also help create new opportunities for fans to engage in the EA Sports App. This includes reimagined highlights, predictive simulations and on-demand alternative broadcasts. The EA Sports App is currently available in Spain and will soon expand to other regions.
