EA Sports shared the official reveal trailer for UFC 6 today, offering a first look at some of the gameplay and presentation changes coming to the series. The game features updated striking and motion systems, along with new Markerless Capture technology and Signature Strikes designed to make fighters move and react more naturally inside the Octagon. Sapien Technology is also being used to improve fighter models and overall animation detail.
Gameplay is seeing changes as well with Frostbite-powered Real-Time Contact, introducing updated ragdoll physics, damage reactions and more precise hit detection during exchanges. EA Sports also highlighted a new Flow State mechanic that activates during certain moments in a fight, allowing fighters to lean into their strongest abilities as momentum shifts.
Hall of Legends and The Legacy were also revealed. Hall of Legends focuses on iconic UFC fighters and moments from the sport’s history, while The Legacy follows a created fighter’s path from smaller venues to the biggest stage in the UFC.
EA Sports UFC 6 launches on June 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Fans who pre-order the Ultimate Edition can jump in early starting June 12.
