The popularity of EA FC 25 might not be on the rise in terms of critical reception and with fans at large, but EA Sports has created a brand-new initiative focused on rewarding fans of their favorite clubs to maybe get some positive PR back on their side.
Although EA Sports made the decision to part ways with FIFA in 2023, the publisher still has the majority of licenses, enabling it to utilize the likenesses of over 700 football teams, their players, and the stadiums they call home. Starting with Borussia Dortmund, Boca Juniors, Liverpool, and Angel City FC, EA Sports has allowed four fans to become part of the EA FC 25 game.

EA FC 25 SuperFans, Explained
For the first time in any football game released by EA Sports, four football clubs selected one devoted follower to have their likeness added into EA FC 25.
The list of the four clubs involved are as follows:
- Borussia Dortmund
- Angel City FC
- Boca Juniors
- Liverpool
The SuperFans will now appear as part of the pre-match presentation that occurs in career mode and Ultimate Team matches. You’ll notice their face scans cheering on their teams from within the virtual stadium stands.
That’s not all, other EA FC fans also have the opportunity to become a SuperFan and have their own likenesses embedded into future releases.
How To Register For EA FC SuperFans
Do you fancy seeing yourself in the crowd at EA FC matches? Now’s your chance to be immortalized in the football franchise. Fans can submit an application to become an EA FC SuperFan on the EA Sports website. You’ll have to be quick, though. Fans have until April 15, 2025 to get their applications submitted to be in with a chance of appearing in future EA FC games.
In order to apply for SuperFan status, here’s what you need to do:
- Submit your social media handles
- Reveal your favorite football club
- Write a 500-word story revealing why you deserve to be a SuperFan of your club
That’s all there is to it. If EA Sports likes your story, it will get in touch and begin the process of adding you into the game.
Will More SuperFans Appear In EA FC 25?
Following the reveal of the first for EA FC 25 SuperFans, EA Sports hasn’t shared additional information on whether more supporters will appear in this year’s game. With a few months of the current cycle remaining, there’s every chance more real-life fans will make their in-game debut.
If that isn’t the case, fans will have to wait until the launch of EA FC 26 for a chance to get their faces into the game.
