EA FC 25: Best Striker Build in Clubs

You'll be bagging goals for fun!

Last month, we dove into how to make a great CAM build in EA FC 25 Clubs mode. And while having a maestro in the midfield is a must, it is only a part of the puzzle — you’ll also need to have a striker that is ultimately good at finding the net if you want to win matches.

Before we get too deep into it, let me remind you that this is just one guy’s opinion. I’ve been playing Clubs for a long time, mostly in 11v11 leagues, so I’ve had an opportunity to try out a ton of different builds. But what works for me might not work you or your team’s style. And if you’re strictly a “smalls” player and don’t really play in an 11v11 league setting, then you have even more leeway when making your build.

That said, here’s the strongest striker build I’ve used on Clubs in EA FC 25. A big chunk of it was inspired by Pro Clubs Weekly’s recent video, which spotlighted Romaninho’s build. So be sure to show them some love!

Best Striker Build In EA FC 25 Clubs

Player Size And Position

Position: LW

Height: 6’0″

Weight: 136 lbs.

When you first start making your striker build, you will have to choose your player’s size and position. This can vary greatly depending on the type of striker you want to be. Some might prefer to be a smaller striker that possesses great pace and the ability to dribble through defenders. Other players who aren’t as great at utilizing their right analog stick might prefer to play as a big target forward, capable of out-jumping defenders to create both shots and knock-down opportunities for other attackers.

Personally, I like a balance between the two. On this build, the winger position is used as opposed to striker. This gives me better stats when on the ball.

PlayStyles

PlayStyles determine where your Clubs build excels. If you’re new to Clubs or don’t really know how PlayStyles work, they act pretty much the same as perks. For this build, I’ve chosen the following:

PlayStyles+

  • Power Shot+
  • Aerial+

PlayStyles

  • Dead Ball
  • Incisive Pass
  • Tiki Taka
  • Trickster
  • Quick Step
  • Relentless

The idea behind these PlayStyles selections is to make your player both viable in the air, as well as with the ball at your feet. Also, for some reason, nobody else on my Clubs team is capable of taking a good corner or free kick. So I’ve taken it upon myself to apply the Dead Ball PlayStyle which will make my pro good at both.

In theory, you can swap Power Shot+ for Finesse Shot+, just like Romaninho does. But personally, I don’t find finesse shots to be very good against user-controlled keepers this year unless they’re from outside of the box. And with the way my team is set up, strikers shooting from outside the penalty area isn’t really how we play. Instead, I’ve had much better success using Power Shot+ to either grab goals or force wonky rebounds for other attackers to run onto and finish.

Pace

There is honestly no reason whatsoever for any striker build to have anything less than maxed out pace, no matter what kind of striker you are. Even if you are a lumbering target forward or false nine, having less than optimal pace is a recipe for disaster.

So max this out. No exceptions.

Shooting

OK, now for the fun stuff and why you’re here to begin with: Shooting. For me, I’m following the recommendations set forth by PCW to a tee. For one, I’ve maxed out my weak foot. This is essential as you will be required to take shots from virtually any angle possible, with either foot.

For the middle tree, I’ve applied 10 points to Finishing, as one should. And on the right tree, I’ve added as many points to Shot Power as I possibly can. Because we’re on a winger build and not a pure striker build, we will be lacking shot power by default. And in order to be viable in front of net and consistently beat goalkeepers, you will need to be able to strike the ball with pace.

Passing

Obviously, a striker’s job is to score goals. But being to link up with other player’s with one-touch passes, or find another attacker in behind on goal will also come to play. So while we might not be applying too many points into passing, we will use a few.

On this build, I’ve applied one point to short passing and another onto vision. This puts my short passing at 82 and my vision at 81. This is more than enough for the striker position. The Incisive Pass and Tiki Taka perks we applied earlier will also aid you in finding passes when you need to.

Dribbling

By far, dribbling attributes are the most important component to this build. Because while you aren’t the best clinical scorer or incisive passer on your team with these stats, you will be one of the best when it comes to shaking defenders out of their shoes and lining up high-percentage shots on goal.

Describing how to apply the points here is a bit difficult, so consult with the screenshot above. Basically, you’re gonna want 5-star skill moves and for your player to be as agile and good on the dribble as possible. You will also want to slap as many points onto Balance and Ball Control as possible as this will ensure you can keep hold of the ball, even in tight spaces.

The next category is Defending, but we’re not putting any points onto anything there. So onto the next one…

Physical

When we were choosing our PlayStyles, you might’ve noticed that we have Aerial+ on this build. By itself, Aerial+ won’t do much to help a pro who is anything less than 6’4″ tall. But to make our 6’0″ striker viable in the air, we’ve added some attributes to make us both competitive in the air, and hard to dispossess on the floor.

In Physical, I’ve maxed out the jumping and added Stamina & Jumping (the bicycle icon). I’ve also added 5 points onto Reactions to ensure optimal quickness with the first touch, and 3 points for the Mental Focus attribute in the middle of the right tree. This not only adds even more to Reactions, but also increases your Composure by +2 which will make shooting all the easier, even when surrounded by defenders.

This is how to make the best striker build on EA FC 25. Have fun! And if you have any suggestions, let us know down in the comments.
