Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, has spilled the beans on his plans for running for a third term. She has suggested that ‘a lot can happen’ until 2028, which has raised quite a few eyebrows.
The 18-year-old made her first-ever podcast interview on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive. She spoke about numerous topics, from Kamala Harris to her dating life being difficult due to a lack of privacy from the Secret Service. She eventually opened up about whether there are any plans for her grandfather to run for president a third time.
She would shut down any speculation at first about there being any plans for him to run once again. But, she still left a bit of room open for any possibility after noting that there are still three years left until the 2028 election.

Kai Trump Wants To Completely Stay Out Of Politics
Kai Trump has started coming out more in public and has been steadily growing her following. This podcast interview with Logan Paul marks her first public interview, and we expect to see a lot more of her thoughts in the coming years.
She’s often seen competing in golf and has amassed around 1.4 million followers. She also remains closer than ever to the US President himself and openly supports him, even appearing in a few videos for the White House alongside him.
However, regardless of her support for Donald Trump, Kai doesn’t care for politics at all and wants to stay out of it completely. She was asked for her opinion on Kamala Harris, who’s believed to be running in the 2028 election. She responded that she tries her best to stay out of these things and that politics is a dangerous thing.
“To be honest with you, I stay out of politics completely, Like, I would never run and I don’t want anything to do with politics.” Kai added. “I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing, and I think if both sides met in the middle, everyone would be so much more happier, and I think there’s radical left, there’s radical right, and there’s a lot of people who get too extreme.”
Donald Trump Likely Won’t Be Running Again For President
It’s quite possibly true that Donald Trump certainly wouldn’t be running for US President a third time. He’s even admitted that publicly that he wouldn’t be allowed to run as well.
Even though he still has a lot of support behind him and won by a landslide in the 2024 elections, we don’t think Trump is going to be in office again. Perhaps one of his family members could give it a run at some point to carry on his legacy, but Kai Trump wouldn’t.
