She has been wearing special outfits throughout the Playoffs to extend her silent support towards Maye. Her recent post on Instagram was just the right motivation for the rising quarterback who has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism.
Even though it was his touchdown that gave the Patriots the victorious turnaround, Drake Maye is not being taken seriously. Multiple experts and fans have bashed the New England Patriots for being a team that got off easy throughout the season. Nobody is taking the New England Patriots seriously for Super Bowl
Even though the Patriots are the team with momentum on their side, they are still being underestimated. The Patriots are literally on a 9-0 streak, making a record for the first time a team has ever achieved in the NFL. The only reason that people seem to have against the Patriots is their strength of schedule.
It has been unanimously agreed upon that the New England Patriots have not been the best team this season. The experts seem to believe that only because they faced easy opponents, they are able to reach this far. Even Drake Maye’s sophomore season as the Patriots’ first quarterback, after Tom Brady, to give them a fighting chance for the Super Bowl, is not considered a good enough feat.
Even his Playoffs appearances are being questioned by the critics, who argue that Maye did not do well enough in the Playoffs. Additionally, while people do accept that he was really good and praiseworthy during the Regular season, he still did it against the easiest schedule, so that doesn’t count. The numbers do not look good for Drake Maye and the New England Patriots. They are being treated as fodder in front of the Seahawks, who are being presented as winners already.
