He seems excited.

Super Bowl is around the corner, and like every year, the halftime show is attracting attention around the globe. Following his Anti-ICE remarks, many notable figures, including Roger Goodell, have added their opinions to the situation, and now DeMarcus has also played his part.

According to HITC, the Seattle Seahawks linebacker didn’t see Bad Bunny’s bold Grammy speech as a problem; in fact, he took it positively. Similar to Goodell’s response when he was asked about the artist, Lawrence also appears to look forward to the performance.

In a tweet, the athlete said, “We have so many cultures and ethnic backgrounds in America, I think it’s time to start embracing all of them,” and also added, “… that’s what really makes America great.” These words show Lawrence’s confidence in the artist and how impactful it would be that he’ll be among millions of people from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds.

DeMarcus Lawrence Stands By Bad Bunny, Calls For Embracing Diversity In Super Bowl Halftime Show

Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence expressed his support for Bad Bunny amid discussions about the Super Bowl halftime show. Lawrence declined to address specifics of Bad Bunny’s Grammy appearance. However, he stated he holds no personal objections to the Puerto Rican artist.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs echoed similar sentiments, describing the ‘Monaco’ singer as an exceptional artist deserving of respect. Diggs emphasized that a Super Bowl performance should remain separate from the artist’s personal views.

Bad Bunny is currently still facing online backlash following his actions at the Grammy Awards last Sunday. The Latin crooner chose his acceptance speech to make a statement to get ‘ICE out.’ While criticism grows for him as the Super Bowl nears, most of the NFL players have voiced their support. Bad Bunny is ready to perform his heart out as the Halftime show and showcase his talent on the national stage.
