David Beckham is choosing to look back at 2025 with fondness. The Inter Miami FC owner has certainly reached new heights in his professional career and is proud to reflect on it at the end. However, fans couldn’t help but notice that he chose to neglect some stumbles in his personal life.
Beckham let fans take a glimpse into how successful this year had been for him, if they hadn’t been watching closely. The Manchester United icon shared a post on his Instagram that showcased his most important achievements in 2025.
He described the year as one that he will remember forever. It was certainly memorable for him, considering he was knighted and won the MLS in 2025. However, fans couldn’t help but notice that his son, Brooklyn Beckham, wasn’t present in any of his snaps in the post. It should be noted that the rest of his close family, including his wife and the rest of his kids, were featured in the pictures.
I feel very lucky to have had the year I’ve had in 2025 full of moments that I will never forget from my 50th to my knighthood (still pinching myself) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner,” Beckham wrote in the caption.
David Beckham Has A Fractured Relationship With His Son
David Beckham always had a bit of a rocky relationship with his son, Brooklyn. However, this year it seems that it completely cracked open as both parties have shut the door on one another.
Brooklyn has taken leave of the family alongside his wife, Nicola Peltz. He has seemingly blocked his parents on social media and has been absent from their side for some time now. The couple had stopped appearing alongside the Beckham family in public events for a while.
Many fans have urged the two to try to mend their relationship, but it’s seemingly been to no avail. It seems David Beckham has stopped caring too much about it from the looks of his post. He made no mention of his estranged son in the caption, but did write a general loving statement for his wife and kids.
I’m so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends and team I work with every single day nothing would have been possible without you all,” he wrote. “But as Sir Alex Ferguson would say ‘onto the the next’. Thank you for the incredible memories I will forever remember 2025. @victoriabeckham I love you & our kids.”
Despite The Drama It’s Been A Good Year
David Beckham certainly had one special year in 2025. Even though his relationship with Brooklyn remains broken as of now, the Inter Miami owner has a lot to be proud of.
It’s an admirable thing to see him focus on the big positives from this year. Now, at the age of 50, we’re sure he doesn’t have too much time to dwell on the negatives and wants to make the most of things. We’re sure he’s still going to try to reach out to his son to establish some form of connection with him once again.
