Dana White Asked About U.S. Involvement In Iran Conflict, But The UFC Boss Refuses To Sugarcoat His Response

Dana White has some blunt words regarding actions of the U.S.

UFC CEO Dana White did not mince words when asked about the escalating conflict between the United States and Iran, offering a blunt assessment during a recent television interview. The longtime combat sports executive suggested that public opinion has little influence once Washington decides to take military action abroad.

White shared his perspective during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where the discussion turned toward the growing tensions in the Middle East and the role of the United States in the unfolding situation. According to the interview, White acknowledged that citizens may have strong personal feelings about the conflict, though he believes those opinions ultimately do not affect government decisions.

“The U.S. is doing what the U.S. is gonna do,” White said during the interview. “Regular citizens like us, you can feel however you want to feel about it, but it’s gonna happen. Just deal with it.” White’s comments came as the geopolitical situation intensified following a rapid escalation between the United States and Iran. White also recently recalled being broke and what he learnt.

Dana White-led UFC Will Host An Event At The White House

The geopolitical crisis accelerated toward the end of February 2026 after nuclear negotiations between Washington and Tehran reportedly collapsed, and intelligence agencies warned of a potential Iranian missile threat. The United States responded with military force shortly afterward. Donald Trump approved a joint operation with Israel targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, military infrastructure, and senior figures tied to the country’s defense establishment.

The strikes marked the opening phase of a military campaign dubbed Operation Epic Fury. The operation focused on crippling Iran’s nuclear program and weakening key strategic assets believed to support potential missile development. Iran quickly responded with retaliatory attacks across the region. Missile and drone strikes were launched against American positions and allied installations in multiple countries across the Persian Gulf.

While White briefly weighed in on international politics, his primary focus remains the continued expansion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The promotion is currently preparing for one of the most unusual events in combat sports history. Plans are underway for a historic UFC fight card to take place on the grounds of the White House in 2026 as part of the United States’ 250th anniversary celebrations.

The event is expected to feature a full fight card staged on the South Lawn in Washington, D.C., marking the first time a professional sporting event of this scale has been held at the presidential residence. Surprisingly, a TKO top executive recently admitted that the UFC event at the White House will see them lose millions.
