LeBron James usually keeps his head cool, but this time around, he completely lost it in a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns. Things got really heated during the Sunday game, with a referee getting caught in the middle of the fire.
We never really get to see the 4-time NBA Champion completely lose it and start going after another rival, but Dillon Brooks certainly pushed his buttons. The tensions between them boiled over in the Sunday game as they almost clashed on the court.
During the third quarter, Brooks came for the attack until getting fouled by Luka Doncic. After the tackle, the Suns forward lost control of the ball as it went out of play until swatting it back in James’ direction. This move completely set the NBA icon off as he started coming at him furiously and started ranting at his opponent. Amidst this heated moment, James grabbed a referee as tempers flared.

Dillon Brooks Pushed James To The Edge
Dillon Brooks is famously known for giving his opponents a hard time on the basketball court. The Suns player loves getting inside the skin of his rivals, and he has marked LeBron James as his target for quite some time.
After setting off James during the Sunday game, he knew his job was done as he walked away from him. The all-time NBA top scorer wanted to confront Brooks for the disrespect he had shown him, but was ultimately cooled off by the official and the rest of the Lakers.
James wanted to get a piece of Brooks for his actions as of late and started shouting at the referee as he grabbed and pulled him around. After this display of rage from the Lakers Legend, he was handed a technical foul once JJ Reddick came into the fold to manage the situation. It seems that James could be handed a punishment from the league for his actions during the game.
James Helped The Lakers Take The Lead Against The Suns
After the situation finally calmed down, LeBron James decided to lock in during the game to help his team win against the Phoenix Suns. However, the drama between him and Brooks didn’t end. The Suns forward ended up being given two technical fouls for bumping into his rival and being ejected from the court.
James would finish the game with 26 points and would score the points to give his team the lead in a 116-114 team lead. While the battle between James and Brooks might be over, the war might continue as neither might be willing to bury the hatchet anytime soon.
