Drake is never one to back away from throwing on an outfit that’s a bit out there. The Canadian Rapper recently turned up in German traditional attire for Oktoberfest and showed it off in all its glory.
The “Toosie Slide” singer turned up in Munich, Germany, to surprise fans at an event that saw everyone celebrating Oktoberfest. While you’d think someone of his stature might shy away from going all in on the theme, he certainly went there. It certainly has all of us rubbing our eyes as well in disbelief.
Drake posted a series of photos on his Instagram account from his day in Munich. The photos show him enjoying the festivities, engaging in drinking a lot of beer alongside many of his friends. One of the pictures showed off his insanely on-theme outfit from head to toe. He was wearing denim overalls from Chanel’s Fall/Winter 1993 collection, along with thick glasses and high-kneed socks, and held a Stanley Cup.
Drake’s Oktoberfest Outfit Instantly Became Meme Material
Oktoberfest is an annual event held every year in Munich, Germany. The festival runs for two weeks and ends on the first Sunday of October. The residents and tourists all band together to drink beer and enjoy the funfair with each other. It seems like Drake saw the festivities and wanted in on the fun as well.
He didn’t shy away from dressing the appropriate part for the event as well. The rappers’ Chanel overalls for the event also had cute accessories to match as well such as a gingerbread heart cookie pin. The pin had the words “Too Hot to Hendl” written on it. The fit finally came complete with a signature gold and diamond OVO chain.
Many fans got a huge kick after seeing Drake’s over-the-top outfit. Some asked where he even found the Chanel overalls from, while others made him a meme all over again.
The internet started to share some incredible photoshopped material on social media once the pictures dropped. One of them replaced the Stanley Cup in Drake’s hand with a giant lollipop that made him look like a giddy young kid.
Fans Flooded Social Media With Jokes And Photoshop Edits
It seems like the fans had quite the fun with Drake’s Oktoberfest pictures. The memes didn’t stop coming for a while, as soon as the photos were shared. A lot of jokes came his way, and some even brought up some lyrics from his foe, Kendrick Lamar, during their feud from last year.
However, we’re sure that the “What did I miss?” rapper didn’t mind much. After all he seemed too concerned with getting absolutely winded with his friends and a lot of alcohol. We’re sure he certainly had the time of his life and might want to return to Germany soon to experience it all over again.
