WWE has been teasing the fans again after recently posting cryptic videos that might tease a potential superstar returning to the ring. Judging from one of the videos, that star might be none other than Brock Lesnar.
There have been a few videos posted on X from WWE. Each video seems to follow the same pattern and shows a close-up of their shoes. It shows someone walking until it mysteriously stops with no further clues. Many fans threw out different theories regarding what the video might mean.
The fourth video in these cryptic teasers seems to suggest that the person walking is none other than Lesnar. It looks as if the Beast Incarnate might be returning sometime soon in the squared circle. However, this time the comeback might not be so positive, as his last appearance didn’t go over so well with the fans.
WWE Has Been Teasing With A String Of Cryptic Posts
This series of cryptic videos has certainly got the WWE fans talking. Many theories were thrown regarding the vignettes. Some speculated whether all of this is going to lead to a specific storyline or whether it could be an injured star finally returning from the shelf. Many were even hyped, thinking that perhaps Chris Jericho was finally making the jump from AEW for one last run.
However, according to recent reports, it might all be a part of a promotional shoot for WrestleMania 42. These videos suggest that Brock Lesnar is bound to return to the company once again. His last appearance saw him demolish John Cena at Wrestlepalooza. However, his dominant victory didn’t go well with the fans.
Many fans thought the encounter was highly disappointing and a poor use of him in the ring. Many believed both him and Cena could’ve put on a spectacle if given the chance. However, the destructive win was seen more as a poor booking decision rather than a nice setup for redemption for Cena down the line.
His Last Return Had A Mixed Reception
Brock Lesnar’s last return didn’t create the big impact WWE had been hoping for once they brought him in. While fans did cheer for him upon his return, the talent backstage was not happy. Some were even reportedly disgusted with the company for bringing him in, concerning his recent allegations.
WWE chose to ignore backstage reactions and went ahead with their plans. The future segments didn’t necessarily land the right way, as well, with one having Lesnar accidentally rip his pants on live TV. Ultimately, it all ended in an underwhelming fashion after the former Universal Champion destroyed John Cena, which did not go well with the fans either.
It looks like WWE is going to run the risk of bringing him back once again. Hopefully, this time around, they push the Beast Incarnate in a better spot and align him with Paul Heyman, or build him as a right monster if he’s going to stand against Cena once again.
