In WWE 2K26, MyGM sees a lot of changes. We have longer seasons, new booking options, better promos, and more. The difference between surviving and thriving in this revamped mode comes down to knowing the little tricks the game doesn’t explain, because even the best GMs get crushed without proper strategy.
Tips and tricks range all the way from exploiting draft glitches to maximizing staff abilities. All of this gives you that slight edge to become a top-tier GM. Once you master all these tricks, you’ll build an unstoppable roster, crush competition, and create legendary dynasties that casual players dream of.
Prioritize High Ring Level In The Draft

All players have the free will to draft any superstars they want, but the draft is where you differentiate between becoming a rookie and a top-tier booker. To become a top-tier booker, always target Superstars with 15+ Ring Level and 20+ for legends. Ring Level is the most important stat in the entire mode, as it directly determines PLE performance and Power-up card rewards.
Ring Level is important because a superstar with 15+ Ring Level will consistently deliver 4 and 5-star matches, generate more revenue, and help in completing Commissioner Goals faster. To get superstars to ring levels 10 – 15 quickly, repeatedly place superstars with high promo skills in training promos, using power ards, and booking title matches.
Draft Opposite-Class Matchups For Fast Rivalries

If you’re looking to maximize drama and the highest possible show ratings, always look for natural opposite-class pairings during the draft. Fighters perform the best against Bruisers, and cruiserweights perform the best against giants. Natural rivalries tend to level up much faster compared to same-class matchups, often reaching level 4 in just a few weeks.Â
Reaching level 4 means that you get higher ratings and bigger rewards, giving you room to make better upgrades much sooner with better match ratings and bigger power-up card rewards at PLE. Build your roster around these organic rivalries to save weeks of grinding. Another thing to do is scan the entire board for these dream match combinations before picking any big names.
Double Book Your Top Stars Every Week

Among the strongest strategies in WWE 2K26 MyGM is aggressively double booking your top talent. This means placing a superstar in both a promo or callout segment along with a match on the same show. This is beneficial as it rapidly increases their popularity, builds rivalries faster, and maximizes your weekly show rating.
It does take a toll on the player’s stamina, but you’ll have to learn to manage stamina carefully. The payoff far outweighs the risk in the early and middle parts of the season. To master this, you should rest your superstar every 4 or 5 shows. Once you master double booking, you can consistently finish seasons with higher overall ratings and stronger rosters than those who play conservatively.
Spend Early Logistics Points On Venue Upgrades

Instead of hiring expensive staff and trainers, spend your first several Logistics upgrade points exclusively on Venue Upgrades. An increased arena capacity allows for a permanent weekly boos that compounds for the entire 50-week season. This extra revenue can then be used to sign better free agents, offer bigger contracts, and survive a financial crisis if they do come.
All of this elevates the quality of your MyGM save and lets you go from a rookie to a top-tier booker. The more you upgrade your venue, the more fans attend matches and increase base show ratings, which work off of one another to make every other part of MyGM easier. A lot of players consider this the single best early game investment in the game.
Save Your Best Power Cards For The Final 10 Weeks

A silly mistake made by players unknowingly is burning their strongest power cards too early. These cards include Fixed Match, Injury Rehab, Pre-Match Physio, and Health Spa, and are extremely valuable and should be hoarded until the final few weeks of the season. Power Cards help in achieving Commisioner Goal and rival promotions, which are at their hardest and strongest during the final few weeks.
These cards help you gain a competitive edge in the final few weeks of the season. The best way to manage Power Cards is to use the weaker cards in the first 40 weeks and keep the game-changing ones for when pressure is the highest. Proper card management is usually the deciding factor in deciding whether you win or lose the championship season.
