The Sharp Shooter Evolution in EA FC 25 turns your pace merchants into clinical attackers in the final third. It gives beefy boosts to shooting and physicality stats, along with the Trivela and Finesse Shot+ playstyles.
Considering the improvements you get, the better candidates here will be players who already have good pace to hurtle along the outfield, but lack that elite finishing ability. Of course, it can only be done once like most Evolutions in the game, so be extremely selective when picking the player you’ll apply it to.
Keep in mind that we have selected several players that benefit the most from this Evolution and have a chance to break into your starting eleven. Here is everything you need to know about the EA FC 25 Sharp Shooter Evolution.
EA FC 25 Sharp Shooter Evolution Requirements And Upgrades
Below are the requirements and max upgrades you can get with Sharp Shooter Evolution in EA FC 25:
Requirements
- Overall: Max 87
- PlayStyles: Max 10
- PlayStyles+: Max 1
Total Upgrades
- Overall: +3 (max 89)
- Shooting: +15 (max 88)
- Physical: +10 (max 85)
- Skills: +1 (max 4)
- Playstyle: Trivela (10)
- Playstyle+: Finesse Shot
With the max stats boosts capped at 88 and 85, we recommend going for players that are farther away from those numbers while already having other great stats like pace and dribbling. It is also worth noting that you won’t get the Finesse Shot Playstyle+ if the player already has one Playstyle+ as the card retains existing Playstyle+ instead of overwriting it.
The objective is similar to all other Evolutions — you have to play at least seven matches and win five of them with the EVO card in your team.
Best Picks For EA FC 25 Sharp Shooter Evolution
Taking all of the above requirements into account, we have listed seven players that you should consider using the Evolution on. It is not a ranked list as a lot of it depends on things like what flank you need to strengthen, chemistry, and if you own other versions of their card.
Rafael Leao

Rafael Leao’s base gold is already pretty good and is among the best fits for the Sharp Shooter upgrade. With 94 pace and a Rapid+ playstyle, the Portuguese winger is already hard to chase for defenders. Now with the Evolution upgrade, he receives a huge improvement to his shooting and physicality, making him an even better card all around.
He won’t have the Finesse Shot+ playstyle if you want that, but the other upgrades he gets are well worth it on their own. Rapid isn’t too bad either. The upgraded EVO is still way behind his NumeroFUT card, obviously, so use this Evolution on someone else if you already own that.
Neymar

Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior is another card that gains a massive upgrade with the EVO. He is already among the best dribblers in the game, and is amazing on the wings. But stats-wise, his shooting is weak. That’s where the Sharp Shooter Evolution comes in.
While he does get a big upgrade, one thing worth considering for him is the World Tour Brazil Evolution. Neymar does become a better all-around player with the World Tour one instead of Sharp Shooter. However, if you already have the likes of Rodrygo, Raphinha, or Neres reserved for that upgrade, Neymar can take the Sharp Shooter.
Likewise, Rodrygo, Raphinha, and Neres are all cards that can be used in the Sharp Shooter Evolution too. Since Neres’ base card is an 80 OVR, you can chain him with other Evolutions like Start Your Engine, Rigid Backbone, and then Sharp Shooter EVO.
Since you’ll have to chain a couple for both Raphinha and Neres’ standard cards (and Rodrygo is better off with World Tour too), Neymar will be the pick among the Brazilians for us when thinking of Sharp Shooter. Still, you can pick any among these lads — or look for their special cards — and it won’t be a waste.
Jérémy Doku

Doku is better chained from his TOTW to Start Your Engine, and then to Sharp Shooter Evolution. While it is chained, the end results make it more than worth — 95 pace, 88 shooting, 87 pass, 90 dribbling, and 84 physical.
The best part about the right-footed Belgian’s card in EA FC 25 is that he can play on both the left and right flanks. So, not only do you have a really good card, but versatile one as well. Buying his TOTW card is not crazy expensive either and can be purchased for around 35,000 coins depending on the platform and time.
Trinity Rodman

Like Doku’s card, you are better off chaining Trinity Rodman, and it will give you near-comparable stats. The benefit here is you don’t have to buy a special card and can get her from the Transfer Market for a measly 3,000 coins. Rodman also has an 87 OVR Trailblazers, but that one isn’t worth adding to the Sharp Shooter Evolution chain.
Rodman has a TOTW card and if you like her you can use it instead, especially if you have exhausted Start Your Engine. The net gain there won’t be as big, and her stats are lower across the board than chain. At that point, we’d recommend doing something else or waiting for a different Evolution. On the plus side, Roadman does get Finesse Shot+, so that is worth keeping in mind.
Federico Chiesa

Federico Chiesa is another player who gets great stat boosts across the board after the Evolution, and like the previous two entries on our list, we suggest chaining him all the same. The Italian forward is extremely versatile and will gain the Finesse Shot+ playstyle.
Chiesa also has a Track Stars card, but you won’t get that much upgrade from it. You can also compare the end result of Evolution with the special card and see if that’s the upgrade you’re looking for. Generally, we suggest doing his base card only. Also, if you have his special card, it’s best to use Evolution on someone else entirely, or wait for a better Evolution where you can use his special card.
Moussa Diaby

Moussa Diaby’s Track Star card is a pace machine! In turn, that’s the one worth applying the Sharp Shooter Evolution to. His regular gold can also be chained with Start Your Engine, and while the gold has extra pace over everyone on this list, he’ll be lacking in physicality.
One of the Frenchman’s major weaknesses is that his card is expensive to buy — higher than anyone on this list, so that might put you off. Neither does he gain Finesse Shot+ in this special card.
Regardless, it is not a bad choice, particularly if you enjoy the pace he provides in the Track Stars card.
Luis Diaz

Luis Diaz is another good player from the Reds who is worth the Sharp Shooter Evolution. Diaz’s two TOTW cards and base card can all be upgraded, but we don’t suggest buying the TOTW ones, particularly the expensive and highest-rated version. You’re better off chaining the gold instead of the special card — specials may be better suited for the future, but are solid choices regardless.
His 86 OVR TOTW card will have higher pace when chained, but much worse passing. But if you cannot do the chain, then TOTW’s are better picks. We are not too excited about using them as the upgrade to them won’t be relatively as big as some other cards here (and it’ll cost you a lot of coins), but Diaz is a worthy inclusion nonetheless.
These are some players that stood out as prime candidates for the Sharp Shooter Evolution. Some honorable mentions include Malcom, Ousmane Dembele, and Racheal Kundananji.
Of course, there are many other good players that could work for the Evolution. And even if you can’t find one that works for you, there’s no need to look for a direct upgrade at this very moment. It is fine to go for some lower-rated cards that excel at everything but lack shooting and physicality, and then do chain, or hope for a better one in the future.
In general, just look out for the number of upgrades you’re getting with these — an attacker who already has 85 shooting is not worth putting for just +3 in that category over others. In most cases, they’re better suited for other EVOs that can make them more well-rounded cards.
