Following its sizable update in November last year, The Crew Motorfest is gearing up for its sixth season, bringing several quality-of-life changes as well as other welcomed improvements.
Highlights among the many changes are the neat graphical touch-ups the newly added Maui is set to receive, making the island strikingly vibrant. Below is the complete breakdown of all the changes coming with Season 6 of The Crew Motorfest.
The Crew Motorfest Season 6 Release Date
The Crew Motorfest Season 6 will be available on March 5, 2025. Each season in the racer typically lasts for three more months, so expect the next one to begin anytime around June or July.
The Crew Motorfest Maui Improvements In Season 6
Maui was added with Season 5, and during its introduction, Ivory Tower said that the island “will continue to grow and change as The Crew Motorfest pushes forward and continues to welcome more guests and content.” Season 6 kicks off the promise with a sweeping makeover of Maui.
These changes are better showcased in from Ubisoft itself, so here is an official video that shares the improvements the island will receive in the upcoming update:
None of these changes are particularly radical — just “cute.” You get more bustling cityscapes and neon props all over the archipelago for warmer nights. If Ivory Tower’s previous statement is anything to go by, expect more of these decorations and changes coming in the future.
The Crew Motorfest Season 6 QoL And Handling Changes
As with any update, Season 6 will bring a slew of quality-of-life changes to the arcade racer. No traffic in Summit Events is the headliner, so you’re now no longer at risk of losing your perfect escape runs because of some rude NPC drivers.
Another notable addition is the “Dynamic No Collision Mode” for PvP. With it, there will no longer be collisions when you’re driving below a certain speed. At higher speeds, you’ll still be asphalt-dueling with other players, however.
Check out all the QoL changes below, as detailed by Ivory Tower in their blog post:
General Changes
- Traffic Changes
- There will no longer be traffic during feats in the Summit Contest (Feats outside of the Summit Contest are unchanged and still contain traffic).
- Challenge Improvements
- Vehicle management has been added to the challenge menu and to notifications.
- Main Stage Challenges:
- A notification will prompt you to equip the correct vehicle for the challenge and will play a sound effect upon equipping.
- A notification will redirect you to the bundle of the vehicle if you do not own it.
- Improved Reward Pending UI
- Reward pending notification will be more prominent on your screen.
- Main Stage Challenges:
- Vehicle management has been added to the challenge menu and to notifications.
- Hide Collectibles Option
- Players can turn on an option to hide any of their collectible icons already collected on the map.
- Upon collecting your next collectible in-game, a tip will be triggered to inform you that you can hide collected collectibles in the options menu.
- Photo Quest Fast Travel
- Players who have unlocked the fast travel feature can now fast travel to their completed Photo Quest locations.
- Collectibles Feedback
- Upon collecting a collectible, the camera will now highlight what you have collected before returning to your current POV.
PvP Changes
Season 6 of The Crew Motorfest will add new events and regular boosts to the Grand Race.
- Weekly Themed Grand Races
- Every week a new themed Grand Race will be available
- Grand Race Boosts
- Regular boosted Grand Races will be available with increased XP and Bucks earned.
- No Collision Events
- Regular weekly events with no collision between vehicles for Grand Race.
- New Weather Conditions
- New weather conditions will be in rotation for Grand Race.
- All Day Modifiers
- Every Saturday, Grand Race modifiers will be active for the whole day from 9am UTC onwards, until the next day 9am UTC.
- Dynamic No Collision Mode
- When driving below a certain speed, you won’t cause collisions with other racers in Grand Race.
- Grand Race Flow
- You don’t have to wait 30 seconds to finish a GR anymore. Once cross the finish line, you can jump straight into a new Grand Race.
- Main Stage Grand Race Modifier:
- A modifier will be available for the Grand Race so that players can only use vehicles from the Main Stage.
Nothing too substantial about PvP has been revealed yet in terms of new content or modes. We’ll likely hear from Ivory Tower if they have anything in store at all as we approach the season’s release.

Handling Changes
Outside of general changes, Season 6 will also tune handling. Notable tweaks are hard-coded dead zones and both automatic and manual clutches being competitive.
Following is the full list of handling changes coming with the update, as well as vehicles that will be affected by these improvements:
Improvements
- Gear Shifting is now more consistent between automatic and manual modes.
- The manual clutch was previously faster than the automatic, but now both options should be competitive with each other.
- Back-on-track will not trigger as much when landing from a big jump on a motorcycle.
- Back-on-track was triggering incorrectly previously when landing from large jumps on a motorcycle, with this fix it should be a much smoother experience for players.
- Added option for Radial Deadzones in controller settings.
- Dead zones for the left and right sticks have been adjusted, as well as the steering and pedals, to remove the hard-coded dead zone.
- Updated the Quad’s physics to avoid unwanted behaviors.
- What it says on the tin. The quads should now operate as designed.
