This year, there are actually more Diamond Club members than ever before in an MLB The Show game, so you certainly have some options when it comes to using the best players available. You might even want to trade for some of them in Franchise Mode, but you’ll need to make a solid offer.

Diamond Club Snubs In MLB The Show 26

With the entire list out, we can go through and identify some snubs that were left out of the Diamond Club in MLB The Show 26.

For starters, Elly De La Cruz is a notable exception, as he was one of the cover athletes in MLB The Show 25 and is considered one of the better shortstops in the National League. While he had a down year in 2025, most consider De La Cruz one of the top 50 players in the MLB.

Another snub comes from an entire team, as there are no Milwaukee Brewers included in the Diamond Club. At the very least, we expected to see outfielder Jackson Churio on the list, who looked like a future MVP candidate in 2025.

The San Francisco Giants also don’t have a Diamond Club representative, and Rafael Devers, Logan Webb, and Matt Chapman are all worthy of a spot on the list. Starting pitcher Logan Webb is especially surprising not to see, as he’s been one of the most consistently best pitchers in the MLB for several years.

Finally, here are players we expect to vault themselves into the Diamond Club conversation as the 2026 season develops:

  • Roman Anthony, BOS
  • Geraldo Perdomo, ARI
  • Cristopher Sanchez, PHI
  • Wyatt Langford, TEX
  • Jackson Merrill, SD
  • James Wood, WSH
  • Riley Greene, DET
