Rodgers might be up to play one more season if the Vikings need him. It has to be an offer worthy to intrigue him into joining the team and extending his lengthy NFL career even more. After all, we know he’s done his part and can choose to go with his head held high.

However, a report from The Athletic has noted that a personal relationship between Rodgers and a Viking coach might sweeten that deal enough for him. That coach is Kevin’ O Conell, who has been in touch with the Pittsburgh Steelers QB for around two decades. Rodgers might want to consider playing under him and make the most of the time he has left on the field.

Rodgers’ NFL Future Is Up In The Air

Aaron Rodgers is still keeping his future career plans under wraps. The Steelers QB hasn’t yet officially confirmed if he’s set to retire and has left fans guessing if he’s going to continue any longer.

Meanwhile, fans have speculated that his situation over at the Pittsburgh Steelers might have deteriorated after Mike Tomlin left. It seems that the Steelers might not retain him after Tomlin’s departure as well and let him go. So, perhaps Rodgers seeing the Viking head coach be none other than Kevin’ O Conell might persuade him to believe it’s going to be an enjoyable last ride for him.

He and the Vikings head coach might also be able to create magic under the right circumstances. Rodgers had given the Steelers a lifeline with his performances and might be able to do the same for the Vikings. His campaign was somehow even better than his final season with the Green Bay Packers at 42 years of age.

Vikings Have Important Decisions To Make

The Minnesota Vikings have to figure out the Quarterback situation up fast. Their offensive lineup is still pristine, but they’re missing a key player at QB that’s going to take them up the ladder and into the playoffs once again.

The Vikings haven’t opened up about their plans yet, but something tells us it might be a surprise. Perhaps, Rodgers coming in to play for them would be pretty exciting and might help everyone put on their game for the NFL icon.
