Week 9 of the 2021 NBA 2K League tips off tonight at 7:00 PM ET. Fans can catch the livestreams on the official Twitch and YouTube channels. Below are some of the storylines heading into the matchups.

Yesterday, the NBA 2K League announced that the inaugural NBA 2K League All-Star Game will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on the NBA 2K League’s Twitch and YouTube channels. The 2021 NBA 2K League All-Star Game will be a 5-on-5, best-of-three series with players competing on PS5 consoles in NBA 2K22’s Pro-Am mode. The NBA 2K League will award a $25,000 prize pool with the winning and losing team receiving $18,000 and $7,000, respectively. Additional details are available here.

With only five teams having clinched playoff spots in the 2021 NBA 2K League Playoffs Delivered with DoorDash – Grizz Gaming, Hornets Venom GT, Pacers Gaming, T-Wolves Gaming and Wizards District Gaming –13 teams are competing for the seven remaining spots. The 2021 Playoffs will tip off Thursday, Aug. 26 with the best-of-three first round, quarterfinals and semifinals taking place over three days of gameplay. The playoffs will culminate with the best-of-five 2021 NBA 2K League Finals Delivered with DoorDash on Saturday, Sept. 4.

This week’s NBA 2K League “Game of the Week” has major playoff implications as Pistons GT (13-11) will host Pacers Gaming (19-7). Pacers Gaming will be looking to secure a top-2 seed in the Western Conference while Pistons GT will try to earn a playoff berth.
