Week 8 of the 2020 NBA 2K League regular season tips off now. All 23 NBA 2K League teams will participate in regular-season gameplay from their local markets with matches airing live on ESPN’s platforms, Sportsnet (Canada), Twitch and YouTube.
SUPER SAIYAN SPLASHY 2: Having led his team to three victories last week, Jazz Gaming rookie guard Kimanni “Splashy” Ingram (left) was named NBA 2K League Player of the Week for Week 7 of the 2020 NBA 2K League regular season. Winning the award in back-to-back regular-season weeks, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft delivered by Panera Bread is averaging 24.2 points and 6.4 assists for the season. Ingram and Jazz Gaming (7-1) will visit Hawks Talon GC tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET.

RAPTORS AIM FOR THE RECORD: Entering Week 8 with a 10-0 record, Raptors Uprising GC will look to break the NBA 2K League record for longest winning streak to start season, set by Mavs Gaming in 2019. Raptors Uprising GC will visit Heat Check Gaming (2-6) tonight at 9 p.m. ET. In the NBA 2K League’s Game of the Week on Thursday, July 2 at 10 p.m. ET, Toronto will host the impressive Gen.G Tigers of Shanghai (5-5), led by Dhwan “ShiftyKaii” White (31.9 ppg, 8.7 apg).
DUCK TALES: Knicks Gaming (5-6) selected Christopher “Duck” Charles with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 Draft. With averages of 27.8 points and 6.7 assists, the Brooklyn– native looks worthy of the high selection. Duck and Knicks Gaming will face off against one of the league’s top scorers in Sten “SAV” Valge-Sarr (32.8 ppg) and Lakers Gaming (2-9) on Thursday, July 2 at 9 p.m. ET
CASH FOR GRABS: The NBA 2K League will award $60,000 in prize money over the next two weeks. There will be 23 matches where the winning team will receive $2,500. Each team will play one home and one away match with prize pool eligibility. The team with the highest points per game average in the two applicable matches across the two weeks will be awarded an additional $2,500. Click here for additional details.
ON TV: ESPN2 will broadcast three nights of NBA 2K League action in Week 8 – Tuesday, June 30, Wednesday, July 1 and Thursday, July 2. Games will begin at 7 p.m. ET each night.
