Clearly it's baseball season and I could care less. It's slow, long, booooring. Now Football that's another story. Will be ordering yet again that NCAA 14 Football game coming out in 2 months. Anyone else with me? Kinda curious as usual to see the changes that's been implemented. Between fighting for that extra yard and a speed acceleration being the tip of the iceberg sounds pretty good. Looking into buying my next 2 games. The interest will be the Madden 25 and NCAA Football 14. Haven't owned a Madden game in like 5 years. Any changes in this game? The College version has been a good one and I've gotten that for the last 4 years. The new engine that was introduced for the NHL game are pretty good. No complaints. Just watched a clip from IGN and they said the NFL Madden 25 will be out on this day. It's been at least 5 years since I've played this series. Thinking about getting it this year. Is it alot like the NCAA series because I get that every year? Is pretty good. They named it that in honor of it being the 25th year Anniversary. Makes sense. Feels like it's been a year or so with everything that's happened and all. Mom passed away in Oct. and finances have been kicking our butt and so on. Bought a new laptop here a couple days ago and am loving it. Would've preferred a Toshiba but no complaints with this HP ENVY with twice the specs, exact same price as that Toshiba I was looking at. AMD A-10 Quad Core, 8Gb Ram, 750 Gb HDD, HD Video card. Can play some games and plan on doing that sooner than later. 1st priority is getting the new Company ... Read More

Another ho hum in the books as I went on to win the National Championship against Missouri 41-0. Now this 2019 seemed to start off seemingly pretty good but I've already lost in week 3. Last I've looked I'm 78-7. Probably will play another 2 seasons before I hang it as Notre Dames Coach and move onto NHL13. Had even though about getting the Madden series but being a basketball Coach my days will be getting busy very soon and I won't have the time.

Well another update from the land of the Irish. I'm now 8-1. The day started simple enough as my wife wanted me to help our neighbors whom we know to move in. Wasn't excited about it but ok there's 2 hours shot. 1st thing I reached for upon returning home was that Busch Light Tallboy and it was off to go to my man cave to play a few games of NCAA13. Ok so I have to admit where as a lot of people would turn the console off to ensure they win when there really losing I did not. Tempting? You bet. Think now I'm 5-1 with my loss coming to Michigan @ my place 22-20. Not really that close though. This team this year is not that good. Was so pissed in a game because my QB threw 5 pics in 1 game that I replaced him with the backup. As fate would have it my backup is out for awhile now with an injury. Actually had a choice during the Coaching part of this game to pick Oregon. Was intriguing but with some good recruits still coming in to my program didn't want to mess with karma. I just won the National Championship game against LSU in exciting fashion. Fell behind by 14 after having thrown a pick 6. I was able to tie it up and win the game in triple O.T. 44-41. Was a fun season to say the least. Not sure what to expect out of this group of players. So many new names but hopefully soon will live ... Read More

Another successful year in the books. A 12-1 year an invite to the Tostito's bowl and a #3 ranking would see me man handle #8 Rutgers 59-21. This 2nd year would see my HB win the Heisman and the Doak Walker award. Recruiting continues to be a bright spot. The defense has like 3 sack leaders and have stepped up big time to anchor a defense is in the top 10. Another couple of years and I'll have to decide on another contract. Season 2 is over with and I finally avenged my loss to Oklahoma in the title game in a big way 34-3. 2nd year in and I've already won it all. I didn't have any players that dominated any statistics but just a good team effort with the usual injuries taking place to my RB. He did come back for a couple weeks but being a senior he's now gone. I finished with a 12-1 record so with only 3 losses in 2 years the future looks bright indeed. Well I revenged 1 of my losses in my 1st year to Mich. St winning 10-3 and soon rose to #1. That's the good news I reckon. As you know how hard it is to stay there. Not long in my case. Oklahoma came a calling at my place and had me down 31-0 before I knew what hit me. Ended up losing after a QB change 31-24. So through 6 games I'm 5-1 and #7 in the land. I lost my runner up Heisman RB from last year due to injury but that hasn't slowed the running game down. I'm doing more passing than what I normally ... Read More

Well my Irish on my NCAA 13 are doing better than expected. Defensively have really stepped it up this year. Probably already have 8-10 picks. I've got the 2nd leading Heisman in my RB but he's 300 yds behind the leader. In 10 games have racked up 3,333 total Yards. Am starting to feel more comfortable passing. Were 9-1 and ranked 3rd. So the system has Oklahoma ranked as #2 ha? I think not. My RB just ran for 176 on 17 carries with 1 Td in a 31-17 romp. I'm currently rated 11th. Sure to move up after this. Trying to remember my recruits names I'm trying to get. Oklahoma getting back to them had so many holes wow is all I have to say. Michigan St and Purdue were much tougher as was Stanford. Time will tell with USC. That's always a good game. Who's the toughest team you've faced so far?

Ok so I've had my sleep for the day and it's time for some football, NCAA 13 style of course. Now on my 6th game and it being Stanford which I can't stand being a N.D. fan. They have me down 17-0 before I even started answering the call. Chipping away slowly but surely and would even take the lead. Just gotta play a lil D right. Ok so today I picked it up and jumped in with both feet to play it. After 5 games though I've gotta say, I don't see a noticeable change from last years game. Ok a bit more commentary and the defenses seem to be better @ times. I'm 4-1 with my lone loss coming in a blowout to Michigan St. 35-7. Couldn't seem to do anything against them.
