Shannon Sets New Single Game Records

In a high-scoring shootout with Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, Longhorns quarterback John Shannon set new single game records in passing yards and touchdowns. Shannon went 29-46 for 746 yards and 12 touchdowns passing. Texas won the game and the Golden Hat by a final of 84-77.
