RUSHING ATTACK! Hyde scores his first of two touchdowns in the game.
BUCKEYES HOLD TIGHT
The #4 Buckeyes keep on winning, albeit a little ugly against Indiana
Indiana: The Ohio State Buckeyes were in a battle that lasted the whole game. Usually the defense struggles in the first half but in this game, it was all around as they were caught off guard by the up tempo offense of the Indiana Hoosiers. Hoosiers Quarterback Cameron Coffman would torch the Buckeyes defense through the air as he would complete 18 of his 23 attempts for 304 yards and three scores.
The Buckeyes would not have to compete through the air with the Hoosiers as their running game would hold true for them. The team would rush for over 300 yards in the game with Senior Jordan Hall and Carlos Hyde combining for 290 yards and four scores. Hall would have himself his best game of the season as he did it in the backfield as well as helping the Buckeyes reach good field possession on kick offs. He would rush for 197 yards on 21 carries. He would have four returns totaling 107 yards.
The area in which would keep the Buckeyes in this game is their third down conversions. They were 9 for 11 on their attempts. Braxton Miller would get into scoring as he would rush for one in the third quarter.
The Hoosiers though out of timeouts would find themselves into the end zone right as time expired in the game as Coffman would find Kofi Hughes on a 57 yard hallmary. They would connect on a two point conversion which would end the game 38-35.
