I have to disagree on that. It isn't a fact at all. It's just as disputable as the bible is. I'm not all knowing but all the details specified in that don't happen by chance. It's just not possible.

That is pretty much what Catholicism is. The Church was promising people that they could "buy" themselves out of hell. Lutheranism doesn't do any of that stuff.

That's what keeps me on edge too. The bible confuses the heck of me because it's not that clear. Keep in mind though that the whole premise of religion is blind faith. The bible says that if you believe that there is a god and that jesus is your saviour you will have a great life and a great afterlife too. Also it is also built around the holy spirit. If you believe the aforementioned things the holy spirit will come to you and offer clarity. It won't answer all of your questions but it will make you relize that a god is there. Again not knocking athiests but the bible pretty much says that by the time you get concrete evidence it is already too late. But there is a bit of evidence. If our athiest based history believes that Jesus and The Garden Of Eden existed then it must be true.

Also I'm glad that we can have a civil discussion on this. Most people just blast out their points of view and don't listen to the other side.

Science is only a way of finding out some of what we don't know through experimentation. I know about the anthropology thing but I think that that is just completly insane. I know that apes are VERY similar to humans and that things do evolve but even if evolution is true something still had to put it there. Even if it is true that a one cell organism evolved into humans something still had to make the earth and put that one cell there. Not really knocking against it but the whole evolution theory just sounded insane to me from the very first time I started hearing it at around 11 years old. To me it just doesn't make sense. I hope you enjoy life too.
