WOW, NHL should have not won Sports game of the year, as it does improve, there were a lot of issue with the game that made it unfun and unplayable to a lot of gamers.

GTA winning best non sports game is a joke. Good game yes , best, not even close. IMO of course.

Totally agree. Other than that, the awards seem fairly reasonable. SGOTY could have gone either way between NHL09 and MLB08.

I would have to agree with that, and I actually enjoyed GTA quite a bit. But non-sports game of the year, no way in hell. My personal choice for non-sports game of the year would go to Fallout 3 hands down.

I also strongly disagree with Madden winning football game of the year. I thought NCAA 09's Online Dynasty was awesome fun post-patches, and HC 09 is awesome, and I'm actually still playing HC 09. But to vote for Madden above either of those two is just shameful. My 2 cents of course.
