Madden NFL 16 News Post

Yesterday, we learned a bunch about what the Madden Skills trainer is bringing to the table this year. This year, the skills trainer will be really hitting on real world football concepts, breaking down positional assignments as well as run concepts.

As the trainer continues to grow in its usage of real world Xs and Os (and not just a 'how to play the game' type of mode) are you more interested in using it?

Sound off by voting in our poll and leave a comment on what you'd like to see in the Madden NFL 16 Skills Trainer this year!

How much do real life concepts really matter in this game?

I used Skills Trainer last year, and I will use it again this year.

I rather have mini camp back. I only use this mode to kill time. So bring back mini camp mode and I will be more invested. Those were good times

I'll do it just because you can earn packs for Ultimate Team. And some practice doesn't hurt.

I tried to use it but, my game goes to the dreaded Seahawks v Panthers intro far too much and resets all my progress for me to really get into it.

If they fix that I'll be more than happy to play it. I still can't believe the game shipped with that glitch and that it never got fixed. I can't tell you how many times I had a game scheduled at a certain time in my Online CFM and the other guy had to wait 5 minutes for me to get through that mess.

I'd rather have a full fledged offseason of OTA's, minicamps, and training camp to teach me the fundamentals of football. I will still give this mode a chance if it actually teaches us other positions besides the qb. One side note can it actually look like practice in this day and age of video gaming. I know it may sound cliche but who practices in their game day jerseys?

Hey Charter,
To avoid the "dreaded" Seahawks vs Panthers intro you must register your profile each time before you quit the game or put your console off. By doing this you can be sure that this "glitch" will never happen anymore. Don't forget you must register/save your profile EACH TIME before you put the game off or quit.
I wish it will help you.

If u save ur user profile after completing the drills it won't bring that loading screen up anymore, because ur not saving it thinks it's the first time you've played the game

If I end up buying the game I doubt I will use skills trainer any. I basically just enjoy playing a franchise as either a coach or owner. I might end up trying it out, just to see what its like, but definitely not something I care about.

If I do decide to purchase madden, yeah I will use it. I always take a lengthy hiatus from playing Madden during the spring and summer, so it helps to get me back in the right frame of mind.

It is like my virtual training camp

I will check it out. But I won't spend too much time in the mode.

Also if U Exit the Application After U Quit the Game it Doesn't Give U the Opening Sequence Again...

Just for the achievements in it.

It's a good way to brush the dust off the user skills, so I might give it one go around.

Ya right.....

I completed it last year just to unlock the trophies, didn't use it after that. I'll probably do the same this year.

Yes, with out a doubt. The ability to see how the game reacts and moves is probably the biggest part of why. But I enjoy when they add real life concepts into the game and you can play more sim style football because of it. I love seeing the concepts working and as I was never an RB or had the chance to study the position much, I'm very much looking forward to going through this.
