Those might be the only kind of game that could work for me on tablets and smart phones.

The only way I will buy this kind of game, will be if there are NO MICROTRANSACTIONS (in app purchases), that's why I didn't vote for free to play

I voted yes, absolutely but I have a caveat- if it's a game with a desktop version (like desktop OOTP and MLB Manager for mobile devices), I would prefer the versions be 100% compatible and to be able to save games to a cloud server for mobile play.

I would absolutely go for this, and I would pay a premium for it too! I would really only be interested in an NFL management game, but an NBA game would interest me as well. I check OS daily hoping something like this would be announced!

Cloud server for OOTP/MLB Manager would be awesome!

I voted yes as I play MLB Manager. It's a fun time waster.

I feel the same way. However, I feel like the way OOTPD handles the IAPs in MLB Manager is great. You are able to add extra content if you want to but it will not prevent you from enjoying the full game. No pay-to-win or paywalls!

I have no interest whatsoever. Even if I did I wouldn't buy it. I would just play franchise mode and sim all the games.

it depends on the features, like can I manage against other people, are there leader boards, etc. I wouldn't want to only be managing against the computer. I might as well do like the previous guy, play franchise mode and simulate.

Definitely would play sports management games on tablet and phone. I would rather pay a premium price for a full experience than have to suffer through in-game purchases, game play timers and hard/soft currency schemes.

Yes! We need one for the NBA! But not a card game one that's realistic. Is MLB manager fun? I saw it was $5 but I didn't want to get it if it wasn't interesting.

Love playing MLB Manager. It's doesn't contain a lot of features that come with the PC version, but for the price it's definitely worth buying.

Yes. Yes. A resounding yes.

I am a huge sports management gamer, and think that sports management games on tablets and phones are a natural progression of the genre. However, they are still extremely niche and therefore it's understandable that many bigger developers haven't tackled these games, and those who have are indie developers who do it because of their love of the genre and sport and possibly to make a little extra coin on the side.

I currently have the following sports management titles on my iPad:

Football manager handheld
MLB manager
Cricket captain 2014
PES club manager
Active Soccer 2
Pro strategy football Career
Motorsport Manager
Basketball Dynasty Manager 2014
Qvadriga (chariot sports game)

Plus a few android games on my phone for boxing, wrestling, AFL, rugby and another cricket manager.

I think all the games I've listed vary in production quality and overall refinement and quality. But there are plenty of games around, and I try and support as many developers of sports management games as possible, so yeah, I think these games should more and more make it onto portable/mobile gaming platforms.

If there was a College version, I would be all over it. I can't believe no game maker has stepped up to fill this need. It doesn't matter if everything is generic, just like "Bowl Bound" by Grey Dog Software.
