Well, i think it's cool, everyone can try the game (on xbox one the full game, online included) and then decide if buy it or not.

So the demo is still 6 hours for XBOX ONE users if the don't have Access? Was confused there....

Right, lol

I figured they'd at least have their coverboy available....all good though...these two teams should give us a good feel for different skill sets...

Love it. Simply try the game for free. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

You don't have to pay. EA stated that the full 6hr trial will be available to all Xbox ONE users on the 28th!

Sounds like it's the same trial as EA access grants, but just not five days early. Interesting decision. So the "demo" is the full game, but only for six hours.

I am old and lame, but why do demo's include the "Finals Atmosphere"??? It makes it kind of anti-climactic if I ever get there for real.

Let me get this straight. so ea access users get a six hour trial on the 23rd?
then all xbox one users get a six hour trial on the 28th.... for free?
mean while ps4 owners get a full 4 quaters of thunder cavs... forever?

so do xbox one get a demo or not?

Can't wait to see some gameplay posted on the 23rd. Let's go XBox guys, we're countin' on ya!

Hopefully them showing off atmosphere is a good sign that the atmosphere options work as designed this year...

Also do you get another six hour trial on the 28th even if you allready had it on access? is the 6 hour trial on the 28th going to have the day one patch?

# 15 The 24th Letter @ 10/21/14 03:01 PM
How I am interpreting it is that XBO user's either get a 6 hour trial on the 23rd, or a 6 hour trial on the 28th, depending on if they have EA Access. Highly doubt you get both. The advantage is that you'll be able to play the game in its entirety, with all teams, while PS4 users get CLE\OKC for 4 quarters.

I'm looking forward to trying this out! I want it to be good for the sake of the franchise, and I have a good feeling about it this year.

As a PS4 user I don't mind having a normal demo, would've liked to play with the Spurs or that they gave us more teams to choose from but I'm ok anyways. I do like and think it's a good choice that the tutorial is in the demo, a good way to help people learn the controls and having a bigger chance to have them enjoy the game instead of just playing it and hating it without proper knowledge of how to play with Live's controls.

Can't wait to read the impressions thread. Should be interesting..... I'll have my popcorn ready!

im pretty sure we will start seeing ps4 gameplay in like 3 days. because every game has people playing like 4 days ealry. I think they're gamestop employees that get it early.

Glad to hear it's a full game with 5 minute quarters.
