That would definitely be a good thing

Just make sure the demo isn't weak... A weak demo would be worse than no demo at all.

I love it! Put the product out there so people can get their hands on it.

Gotta imagine they must feel somewhat confident in at least the improvement over the previous version(?).

seems like EA is finally trying to get feedback before they launch a title. Gives them time to address any shortcomings.

sure I would give it a try but I gotta say NBA Live 15 would have to move heaven and earth to make me buy it over NBA2k15. I was a Live fan back in the day but ever since 2k started making basketball games they have had my sale every year. 2k14 was a bit of a let down but only in features. the gameplay was still fun as hell and the best basketball game on the court that I ever played.

I have no expectations or desire to own EA's NBA Live series anymore. And its not a company thing im going with who makes the best game for my money. EA hasn't been close IMO

I think it sounds intriguing.

Love competition between games. only the gamers win. Idk why ppl think they have to support one side. The companies will push each other to push the boundaries and improve the games even more and as a result us gamers get a better game on one or both sides. As a basketball fan, I think everyone who loves bball should give it a try. Who knows you might actually like the game if the improvements are that good. You have nothing to lose.

They are confident in their ability to release a good final product, but I also wonder if the early release allows for greater feedback and tweaking before final release.

If the game looks good I may give it a play if 2k continues on their path of VC being a pivotal part of their game

must mean that they finally finished what they started last year. i would most def' try it out to see what improvements have been made. i played last years demo and turned it off right after my first game. i have my fingers crossed.

It sounds like they want to beat 2K to the punch but if you rush out an inferior product it makes your competition's work look even better. No Live 14 repeats please. Lowest rated sports game in history.

Interesting. On the one hand, they're putting a demo out early to generate hype. On the other hand, it compromises the demo itself -- it'll have to be an earlier build than usual and could be missing a couple of things. Hmm.

I hope they release an early demo. That would be great. More games should do that especially since so many games are delayed til 2015.

The demo will only ease the minds of critics, the worried and people who are on the fence. That is the majority and they need to prove to mass that they are at least trying to make a "good" game.

There has been too much talking and not enough results. Let's see if they can back it up this time with this demo.

Yes and yes..if the demo is bad. Proper feedback early can give time to make as much correction as possible before the release. Like the old NBA elite demo. It was so bad they had to cancel.

I'll try the demo, but at this point it doesn't nothing to tilt me one way or the other. My basketball hormones don't kick in until January, so I won't be playing this game's demo, in earnest, until then. That's when I'll decide whether it's worth buying or not.

there's no way this game will or could be better than 2k Sports version

Intrigued...but you know what "early demo" sounds like to me: BETA

Should help a lot... I'll reluctantly try it, but I'd guess they're still 2 or 3 years behind 2k

Encouraging because I believe LIVE is a solid product in year two. 2K left the door wide open with their horrible VC integration, so I'd like to see LIVE do better.
