Need For Speed Unbound patch 5.1.0 has arrived today adding open playlists, ride sorting and realistic driving effects. The team has introduced the “Original” driving effect in the tags menu for a more authentic tire smoke experience. For players that equip “Original” smoke will not see visual cues for perfect starts or boost earning.

Lastly, Open Playlists have been added to Freedrive, offering curated playlists independent of other players. During downtime between Freedrive events, such as linkups and boosted events, the server will send out invites to these playlists to keep the action flowing.
