Still waiting for my hard copy to install. 38min at 48% loading is long as the great wall of China.

Mine is at about the same point but at least now it's showing demo mode. Seeing some framerate hiccups but that may be because it isn't finished installing. Graphics do look sick though.

I was expecting a bigger graphical leap from PS3 to PS4. Other then that, same great game. (That could be a good thing or a bad thing to some people)

Visually the game looks good, but overall I'm actually very disappointed. The game is identical to the PS3 version in every single way. The player stats do not go back to previous years which is the most dissapointing part. The player awards are only kept for 3 years and there is no tracking of World Series titles by teams. All the things that were not in the PS3 version due to system restrictions should have been in the PS4 version but are not. They added one single hair style...that is inexcusable. What happened to all the hair styles we were supposed to get? Honestly, I feel like I bought the same game twice and that's the part that bothers me the most. I'm sure next year will be better, but they have to work on a lot of things including player models. Those are just straight terrible...the bigger guys look like they have gigantic beer bellies and the uniforms don't look right. Sorry for complaining so much but that's my impression.

These companies aren't getting enough time to make two games unless they like EA did (Live, NFL, & UFC) and eliminate the ps3/360 titles.
You weren't lying...zero improvement other than graphics, and even the graphics don't seem that mind blowing either.

Its what I been saying for months now , I mean Im shocked more havent complained about how similar they are and yes I bought both copies but even though its not a ps3 port it still comes off as one and yes the ps4 player models need to be totally redone as they look exactly like the ps3 ones but in hi def

The game is still fine but Kinda disappointed stuff like open stadiums and such got cut but all in all it will hopefully get me through till NHL 15 and Batman Arkham Knight in fall .

This has been my issue with The Show (and the NHL series for that matter). The fun of playing a franchise mode over a period of years is to be able to look back and see who played for what teams, who won what awards and titles, etc. I had no expectation this would be in The Show on PS4 though, because it just is not a system limitation. Sports games on PSP and Madden on Vita had this capability, so the capability of the system is not the issue. There is just no desire on the part of the developer to put it in.

The sad thing is that MLB 2k this this sooo well. Each player card displayed all star appearances, batting or pitching awards and all the stats from every team the player was on. Madden has the all time top 10 list for each statistical category. 2k games in general address this in a fantastic way including team records for each individual team and list of championship games. I feel a total level of disconnect from the shows franchise mode by year 5. I have to hand write all the award winners just to keep track. The 3 years of awards was a start but it's not enough when you're running a 20 year franchise.

This is only the second time I have ever owned the show, so I am a big casual when it comes to baseball. But this game differs so little from the last time I had it two years ago. I like the game and will get my fun out of it. And it looks fine, and seems to be a game you could get into more than I probably will, but it didn't wow me like NBA2k or even FIFA which is what I play the most.

Well, I love the game. Is it great? Maybe, but I think its more "very good" than great. I only played one game with my Pirates vs Giants on Dynamic settings and thought that was awesome! The camera is the best ever in a baseball game to me! Love it! It plays very smooth but I don't think all of the stadiums got the same amount of attention. The city buildings still look flat and not much detail at PNC park. I noticed that in the videos that I watched and was hoping it would look better on my 50" 1080p Samsung plasma.I also love quick counts! Collision detection on tags and plays at the plate still are not realistic. Those need a lot of work. So much more I could say but overall it is the best baseball game I have ever played. I can only imagine how much better it will look and play next year. Until then, I will enjoy the heck out of this game! It's only year one on PS4!

Game plays great. Load times are horrible
Wasn't as blown away by the graphics as I thought I would be. But, the lighting is BEAUTIFUL

Good - The PS3 version already set the bar pretty high. I love The Show on PS4, but I'm a bit disappointed there's no MP3 support from Sony yet, the install size (i.e., 47 Gb) seems excessive, and the load times hurt the experience.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe the PS4 version of The Show is the best baseball game ever made, but I'm hoping for some extra optimization next year.

I started Diamond Dynasty and quit after a half hour half of that time was looking at the game loading. It takes too long to browse the menus. I hope this can be patched.

When playing night games the graphics really shine.

Its a good solid game of baseball. Its not a system seller imo, like it was for the ps3 because its 97% the same game as the ps3 version and can be played for much cheaper that way.

The fact that this is a direct port with graphical enhancements should be music to everyone's ears. Having suffered through Madden and other similar debacles on new platforms, this is amazing.

Stop complaining and enjoy it!

Meeehhhh, was expecting better player models, facial expressions etc. Overall great game, love dynamic camera, just thought that it would be more "pop" to it I guess.
