Mark Cuban seemed to say it pretty clear: the NFL is heading straight towards an implosion.
In the article, Cuban cited the NFL's expansion of Thursday night and now two planned Saturday games as a reason why the league may be in trouble, citing audience fatigue.
"I think the NFL is 10 years away from an implosion," Cuban said. "I'm just telling you, pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. And they're getting hoggy. Just watch. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. When you try to take it too far, people turn the other way.
The comments come as CBS and the NFL announced a one-year joint partnership in airing Thursday Night games starting in the 2014 season.
What do you think? Do you think the NFL should stick to Sundays and Mondays or do you think expansion to as many nights of the week as possible is a good thing?
