Don't really play too many sports games on a handheld, but my nephew owns a 3DS and I play Pokemon on it when he's not around.

I gave my psp to my son. I have an android phone with GTA on it, but playing it is a pain in the butt. It drains the battery and the controls suck. Mobile gaming is so big because every parent thinks their 8 year old needs a phone, and like 8 year olds, they're fascinated by anything and want everything. I never see adults playing games on their phones like they show in the commercials...never.

My wife does play some games on her tablet, but those are free facebook games so I don't think those count.

Gameboy Color baby!

My family also shares a Gameboy Pocket and an original Gameboy with the original Tetris.

If my green Game Boy Color worked, I would have been playing Pokemon to this day... But no :P

But I have no use for a Vita or PSP or whatever they're calling them these days. For little kids I can understand, but as an adult no thanks.
I'm an adult and I own a Vita. Gasp.

I play The Show on Vita. If i'm gaming it's either on PC or my Vita. I like to over stimulate my brain and play Vita on my couch while I halfway pay attention to stuff on Netflix. Now if only they would release Madden on PC (not happening) or were able to add the physics engine to the Vita Madden I could get rid of my PS3 forever.

While this may seem incredulous, I admittedly prefer portable (Vita now, formerly PSP) gaming versus traditional console. This coming from a guy with two PS3's, no less.

The ability to play from a couch, lying in bed, in transit...and pretty much everywhere(!) makes these my gaming interface of choice.

Per above, I'd go ga-ga over Vita NHL and NBA. NHL 07 for the PSP was the sole reason I bought the console in the first place(!).

lol @ handhelds are for kids.

I always find people hilarious whenever they have a stupid argument for something.

I own a Gameboy Advance SP. Haven't played it much in recent years, and the same can be said for my phone. I have Angry Birds on my phone, but I don't really use the phone that much so I really don't play the game much.

I've been considering a DS to pass time at work, but that's probably only if the price goes down, a lot on the 3DS's or if I can find someone selling one for cheap.

I got hooked on Infinity Blade on my IPhone one weekend a year ago. Other than that I don't play mobile games.

I have a few games on my phone (Jetpack Joyride, Angry Birds, etc.) but I don't play them that often. I only play them if I'm really bored and don't have anything else that I can waste my time on.

Just the Wii U gamepad for when the wife wants to watch her shows. NSMB, Sonic Racing and will be picking up NBA 2k13 for it as well. Nice change of pace.

I use a Google Nexus 7 for my limited mobile gaming needs, but I haven't owned a traditional handheld device since the original gameboy days.

I have a PS Vita, that I play it quite often. I have many games on my phone, but I never play them, not even the NES emulator. They are basically taking up memory space.

Oh btw, I'm an adult. With two college degrees. Working in white-collar America. While playing my Vita in my office...

I have a Nintendo DS. I bought it on sale after the DSI came out. I use it to occasionally play pokemon. [Pokemon is the last of the great turn based adventure games from the 8/16bit era.]

Yes, a Windows 8 tablet. Didn't think tablets/phones counted but there's an iPad in the OP.

I have a Vita and am very much an adult and I have NEVER regretted getting it. I agree I would rather play on my TV but I can't play gems like Persona Golden or Virtue's Last Reward on my TV and man am I glad I got to play those 2 games over the last few months (120 hours worth as a matter of fact)
