There needs to be a big gap between the top 3 QBs and the rest

no way in hell should Roethlisberger be 95 if Brees is 98. it's just stupid. dude averages 20 TD per year and had just 21 last season

Brees has two 5,000 yard seasons
Roethlisberger has two 4,000 yard seasons

they shouldn't be close at all.

Even if Chewbacca was doing Peyton's neck surgery and accidently put his head on backwards I'd take him over Eli every day of the week.

Fun fact: Alex Smith has a 5 - 2 record against those QBs. Where is his 99?!

I still think Eli is more clutch then his brother and if I had one drive to win the game I would go with Eli.

The Aaron Rodgers video made me laugh as they showed him carving up the Giants. They should have showed Tuck and Osi sacking his arse lol.

GMEN for a repeat in 2012/2013!

As for the ratings, why do people suggest dropping someone 1-2 points? It makes absolutely no difference. I think the top 5 QBs should be in the 90s, 5-10 in the 80s and go from there.

This is where I liked All Pro Football better. I know there were numbers behind the abilities but these debates are really meaningless when playing the game.

Alex Smith by himself?

Good to see Rodgers get 99 then again im a Packer fan. Ben getting a 95 is a shock. Nice to see Eli get some respect.

Eli = Tebow in a few seasons?

I don't understand the thought process behind the ratings and I wish EA would take some time to actually discuss the process. Are they based on stats for just last year or over a few years. Looking just at the QB list given, Eli gets a huge bump because of one stellar year ( a year ago he had over 20 picks). But Big Ben and Rivers both had sub par years compared to their past and they barely move down. In the past look how long it took LaDainian Tomlinson, Chris Johnson, etc to drop into the 80's.

All of us know ratings are subjective, but show us who makes up the ratings (can't be Donny alone, can it) and how they come up with them.

A 90 for Romo? That seems a bit too high to me. Anyways, whatever, ratings are something I'm sure we could all argue about every day of the week. That one just really stood out to me as being overly high. For as well as he can play, he sure can stink it up with the best of them. For a guy like that, I don't see an OVR of 90 being appropriate. Maybe 86 or so. Oh well, whatever.

Slooow down there my friend. Cam Newton had a great season, but 89 overall..? It's only his second year. I'd have him at about 81-82.

Stafford should be above Rivers on any list. Rivers took a step back last year, where as Stafford went two steps forward. Eli above Peyton as well.. For obvious reasons.

Based on? Cutler's HIGHEST QB rating is 3 points lower than Romo's LOWEST QB rating. Romo is better in just about every category.

Hold up are we going off of one year or there combined seasons to make there rating for this year? cuz if so payton shouldn't even be in the top ten, and just cuz its CAAAAAMMS! second season doesn't mean he should get a little bump up he should be like a 88-89 then during the season if he does worse or better adjust. and honestly what makes drew brees so much better than stafford when he has big *** gram to throw to all the time, no different then calvin. matherw should be higher then ben like 94 and ben should be a 92.

But even if he is, will he deserve to be? Probably not.

# 137 StreetCarp @ 07/31/12 12:34 PM
IMO, it should go like this:

Rodgers 98
Brady 97
Brees 97
Stafford 95
E. Manning 94
P. Manning 93
Romo 92
Roethlisberger 91
Ryan 88
Rivers 87

# 138 shavane @ 07/31/12 12:46 PM
I am a Eaglews fan and Vick is right where he needs to be I would argue that Cam should be on this list and Brees should be number 1. I may be wrong here but didn't he break a single season passing record thats stood for 25 years.

Eli Manning a 97?? Dude is closer to 77. Wow so is every player on the defense 99s and I don't even want to know what Hicks and Cruz will be...good gosh.

Another obvious and downright clown rating is Arrestedberger, how can you even think he is a 95?

Romo is underrated if anything, all he did was have MVP numbers and add to his 97 career QB rating.

Ben - 92 QB rating for career
Eli - 82 QB rating for career (lol)
