I wish it had the new Infinity engine, but I still really liked playing the dynasty games. Enjoyed the gameplay and presentation. The heisman mode needs help, or needs to be canned.
It actually played better than I expected except for way too many interceptions thrown (by myself & cpu both). I wasn't planning on buying it, but now I'm thinking I may get it at least 4 the month or so before Madden comes out & trade it in.

I like it. Only big problems I've felt is no dirt on white jerseys and occasional feel of rocketing, but this is going to be a solid year of football on a revolutionary front with Madden and what feels like a clean sleek NCAA
I'm enjoying it. Not a fan of the default game speed, hopefully the retail will still offer the option to adjust. But over all it's pretty good.
Quick concern I noticed in the Heisman challenge especially use of reaction time highlights it, that four verts are still a homerun. The cb doesn't turn his hips and the WR just keeps running straight open.

I felt somewhat let down and disappointed. The feel of the game felt so familiar and to be honest, straight up stale. I know its been said around here a million times but I honestly dont feel like its worth a full 60$, especially when the big brother gets a new engine. NCAA 13 felt like M12 with a ticker and studio updates. Just calling it like i saw it.
On a higher difficulty setting this game has the potential to be great, but passing was way too easy.
I love football and I loved the demo. I finally returned NCAA 12 yesterday to started playing a better game. The passing is so much better it's not even funny. I played about 6 games (with different teams) and I didn't see one, not one superman flying LB or DB's.

Let's face it; i plays okay, and it is a refresher from Madden12 at the moment. The passing trajectory thingy plays great in the demo; so the over all feel is good, only because its not madden12.
Something new always feels better, than the same old "NORM".
cheers

How does it compare to NCAA 12? I barely played that.
NCAA 11 > Madden 11

You can feel the refinement. Plays very smooth. Thats more than enough for me at the moment. I think I'll be picking this up day one. Finally made up my mind after being pissed for a few days about the lack of draft classes.

The cut scenes to the "studio" are lame. It would be cool if they showed a highlight or something from the game they were taking about. I watch a lot of college football and I have yet to see Kirk Herbstreit call a game with Brad Nessler. Why is there no college game day?? The presentation is nowhere close to what it should be for a game like this.
Game-pay is hard to tell as it is as Varsity difficulty level, but it seemed to be a tightened up version of last years game, which was a tightened up version of the year before. I doubt I'll get it, as Madden looks to have everything I want this year. I feel like this game has just stretched to make as few changes as it could to last the duration of the current gen, and then we will not see it for next gen.

At the moment, I'm leaning towards a "no buy," but next Monday when EA releases more information on the Road to Glory will go a long way towards making my final decision.

Wish infinity engine was in NCAA 13 as stated in recent post they can get rid of Heisman mode and slow motion love me some College Football but will hold out this year for Madden....even though NCAA has won between the two in the last few yrs in my opinion!!!
as much as I love college football, I'm actually thinking of buying Madden after all these years of not buying it. I'll stick to NCAA 12 and either wait till they cut off online play for it and then reluctantly buy NCAA 13 after 6 months from the release date or wait for NCAA 14. I played the NCAA 13 demo and was ok for me I graded it a C+. Yeah, its a great they got rid of psychic DB's and superman LB's but definitely not enough for me to go buy it midnight on July 10. Ya, the thing that irked me quite a bit is the facemasks aren't all to the right proportions. Bubble screen for the most part is fixed. But it was definitely not spectacular. I still think they should have spent all the time and resources used on heisman mode and put it into RTG and dynasty. ;One thing I remembered that I really enjoyed from NFL2K5 was the draft, I'll probably really enjoy draft day in Madden 14 alot. I'll go up and down all the draftees and see if I can nab a hidden gem or two in the 4th round for my Chargers.
