The only thing that I could think of reading about this is "Clutching at straws". Just shows that EA's target audience is kids who play video games, not golf fans or those of us who play golf. Sigh.......

Why does EA continually think that crap like this actually sells games. People who buy golf games are golf fans. End of story. People who buy sports games are sports fans. End of story. These same people want the games they buy to represent the sport as realistically as possible. End of story.

I believe this is a pre-order bonus from one of the stores isnt it?? I know when I first saw this as a "bonus" the thought that came to my mind was why and who comes up with this stuff? What golfer in there right mind wants to play with any of these 4 characters??

So they can create these 4 guys which probably means they have to pay them something but am I am able to move around in the tee-box??

That's pretty much the sad state of affairs of the TW series. Yes it's a relatively minor thing and it is only offered as a bonus but why are they wasting any time and resources to fluff like this when there are so many other improvements that are needed in this game. It's bad enough they wasted a good chunk of thier time and resources on that goofy Tiger Legacy challenge.

And since we haven't heard an iota of information about career mode improvements (or even heard a date about when we could hear this info) it's starting to look more and more likely minimal improvements were made which makes this tired old franchise look even more decrepit. It's obviously low on thier pecking order on things to change which is just mind boggling considering the franchise mode is the bread and butter of every sports game.

Why not put Tony Romo in there he's at least a decent golfer. They should have added Barkley because his swing would brutal to play with.

I haven't bought a tiger woods game in years. Golf games get boring fast.

Well I'm not a hardcore golf fan and enjoy the Tiger games. I also was excited to see this order being a sports fan more than a golf fan. Looks like I'm in the minority though
