EA Sports FIFA Street News Post

In what seems to be an overwhelming, yet amazing, return of arcade style games, FIFA Street is sitting right in the middle.

With the FIFA series being arguably the best EA Sports title the past few years, the Street team is ready to live up to the challenge and the hype.

The build I played was still a little early, with a few shotty areas of gameplay, but I could sense the style of the old FIFA Streets from the PS2 and XBOX. As mentioned earlier, arcade games are coming back in full force, and they’re all sticking with the original gameplay we all grew to love. FIFA Street is no different; it still is reminiscent of the countless dorm room tournaments I had in college.

I'm happy to see MLS teams included this time around, and I might end up getting this one when it's released. I'm excited to get more info and see some gameplay.

I am actually very excited for this. FIFA 12 was phenomenal and capitalizing on that engine in arcade "format" should be just pure fun!

This just may be my first soccer game purchase ever.

FIFA 12 is already arcadey as it is. Tried it, didn't like like it. I'm hoping FIFA Street will be better. EA actually knows how to make arcade games, and they should stick with it. Loved the old NBA street games. Now EA has two of the best arcade games ever in NBA Jam and NFL Blitz. Never played the first three FIFA Streets, but this one looks promising.
