Why should it?!?! The game updated its gameplay, and the rosters will come when the Lockout is over. The gameplay is all I need!

This. Exactly how I feel. Only rookie I'm really going to be missing is Kenneth Faried. That man's a beast. Other than that they're really aren't a whole lot of rookies I would be using this season, personally. and those rookies will just be icing on the cake when the lockout ends. Still a first day buy for me!

Only rookie that I would really wanna see is kemba, because he's the only offense our terrible bobcats have..

Within no shape, size or form will this in any way make me decide to not get this game. Basketball is the only sport game I play. Its what I know, and still play myself. My jumpshot is fire. Anyways, the NBA will be back and when it does my man's (Lebron) is getting a ring! This I do believe.

To be honest, NBA might even be dissolve alltogether and I would get the game anyway. NBA 2K11 was one of the best sports game I even played and just for that, 2K as my money until they lay an egg on me (I'm still buying EA's games so if you take this as a comparison).

All the classic teams, the work that has been done and the comments on the Demo just makes me even more hungry to get the game.

I don't think, with the ability to shake things with 2K Share that the lockout will have any impact on people who are sold with the game. Might be different with people not sure getting it, but to me, the best way to hardcourt action when there's none going is still to play a game that is almost like the one we watch on tv.

I totally agree with you...this game will be a day1 purchase with or with a NBA season...

HELL NAW!

My first sport love has always been basketball. I'd take the best NBA 2K over any NFL 2K or All Pro Football has to offer. 2K should bring back College Basketball!

Im buying the game no doubt. 2k share is a wonderful thing... Ill just check for any roster with rooks and put it in my game.

# 15 Vaporub83 @ 09/21/11 08:56 AM
No way. The real question is who will we making the rosters for 2kshare with rookies?

# 16 Pete1210 @ 09/21/11 09:00 AM
I was going to wait because of the lockout. Figured I could just keep playing 2K11.

Then I started reading about 2K12, the Insights, saw some video. I have to get it.

I will miss NBA today.

In all likelihood, yeah I'm going to get it. Not having the rookies really won't stop me. I didn't even care about the NBA that much, and 2k11 made me into an NBA fan last year.

But if I'm being really honest - if 2k could bring back it's NFL game with the look and presentation that NBA 2k has...wow...

This NBA lockout won't ha ve any affect on me purchasing NBA 2K12. I mean, have you played the demo? Even if you haven't, I remember NBA live 99 when the lockout hit then and I played my PS into a coma back then. NBA 2K12 will get that same treatment seeing how it may be the only basketball we het watch. Throw in legend/retro teams and I basically have NBA TV in my hands. 2 more Saturday's and this game is ours :-)

I'm addicted to sports videogames. Couldn't care less what's happening in the real world....
