Madden 12 News Post

That's right. You are tired of nano-blitzers, four verts all day, guys who go for it on their own 10 yard line, on 4th and 34.

Well, my friend, you have come to the right place.

The OS Madden NFL 12 Online Community, headed up by yours truly, is now live on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3! Play the same group of people you know from OS every day, including staff members, writers, and just regular forum members! (Maybe a Developer?)

Here are the names of the Madden NFL 12 Online Communities:

Xbox 360: OpSports 360
Password: OSMaddenOC1

PS3: OpSports PS3
Password: OSMaddenOC1

For now, it is on default settings, but that will be changed soon. Also, everyone is welcome, but if we start getting multiple stories of your cheesing ways, we can kick you out just as easily.

Are you ready for some football, Operation Sports style? Come join us.

Joining tomorrow around mid-day probably. This is a good idea, I haven't played any online games yet, but I imaging people are already exploiting it somehow.

Can't wait to join. Though I need the game still... Haha. Will be my first experience playing Madden on-line. So that will be a great, great plus.

@ XI CMURDER IX

If that's the case, you can rest assured it won't be tolerated and they'll be booted...OS is not the place for your average sports gamer. :-P

If they had announced this a little earlier, I probably would have caved and got the 3 day pass. However, now that I have already missed about 12 hours of it, no way. lol

Can't wait to join in Tuesday though and hopefully they get a good slider set up soon.

The settings will be moved to All Pro this weekend. Just getting all of our ducks in a row.

I'm in on PS3, and apparently the first season ticket person to do so (the icon shows up by my name in the community list).

Ok, 360 version settings are currently as follows:

8 minute quarters, 20 second play clock, Slow Speed, All Pro.

PS3 will be set to this soon. Again, this is just a beginning, but I don't forsee many slider changes.

I am curious about this. For years I have read about how drastic an impact slider sets can have on how realistic the game plays but have never tried them for myself. Just wondering why OS may not officially add any slider set to their communities and if this also includes penalty sliders.

He said he doesn't foresee MANY slider changes. Didn't say there wouldn't be any. Plus sliders are for the most part a sticky situation. What's good for some, others may not like. Some people spend the whole year tweaking sliders instead of just getting it good and enjoying the game.

hey thanks because there so many people that only play with the eagles, its pointless, i want to play other teams, i dont want vick running all over me or nanos all the time or fg glitch people...

I can understand that. I thought there were a few widely accepted "sim" slider sets here on OS but if that's not the case, my bad.

I am sure there will be some other online communities with slider sets, so I will get a chance to try them there. No big deal, I am still looking forward to OS communities all the same.

It's a little early for slider sets, especially very good ones. If we find a widely accepted good set, then I am all for it. But until then, we need to make sure everyone is on even playing ground.
