The new Riders Market will expand the horizons for riders, offering them opportunities to transition to other teams. Each season will begin with a fresh roster with riders not only vying for victories and championships but also to seek new seats or aim to maintain their current ones. Speculation regarding potential rider transfers will also be amplified on the fictional Social Network.

The new MotoGP Stewards will supervise races and timed sessions, penalizing riders and AI for on-track behavior. Penalties will range from Warnings to Long Lap or Time Penalties, along with Let Pass orders for unfair overtaking. Violations may lead to canceled qualifying times and irresponsible riding will intensify rivalries with other riders.

The team will also introduce their Adaptive Difficulty system which will adjust opponent difficulty in real-time according to the player’s performance, ensuring that the game’s challenge remains suitable for each individual’s skill level. The improved AI will mirror real riders’ race tactics, with former champions strategically waiting for overtaking opportunities while rookies push from the start. Physics has also been addressed with a new electronic tuning system, improving cornering and power delivery, reducing wheel slip and wheelie tendencies. Tire management has been refined for consistent performance across all compounds on various tracks, maintaining distinct tire characteristics.

The online segment of MotoGP 24 will feature LiveGP Championships, a new multiplayer mode designed for competitive players. Seasons consist of several LiveGPs, challenging players to climb the Championship leaderboard by earning points at each event. Cross-play ensures that fans can compete across platforms from day one, along with 2-player local split-screen mode. Players can express their creativity through editors for helmets, stickers, racing numbers and butt patches, with the ability to share their creations online with cross-platform support.
