Barry Sanders has officially ended his relationship with EA Sports and the Madden franchise. The Detroit Lions legend made the announcement on social media stating he will discontinue his relationship with the brand and products, which obviously includes Madden Ultimate Team. As most of you are aware, Madden NFL 25 was released back in 2013 with Barry Sanders on the cover of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of the game, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Madden series.

His announcement means we won’t see him in Ultimate Team for the upcoming EA Sports College Football 25 either. Because let’s be honest, while no official word has been given, we all know the game will include it.
