Player ratings have long been a staple in sports video games. Whether it’s Madden, MLB The Show, or NBA 2K, it’s always fun to see where players stack up. Here is the top 10 highest rated players in NBA 2K24 as of the latest roster update.
Hassan Whiteside famously said he was trying to “get his 2K rating up” when he went nuclear on my beloved Chicago Bulls years ago. Interestingly enough, NBA 2K has had a tendency to not have 99 overall players. This is opposite of a game like Madden, which boasts several 99s each year and even has a 99 Club. There have only been six 99s in the 25-year history of NBA 2K. Tim Duncan had it in 2K6 while Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, and Chris Paul all had it in 2K9. LeBron James was the last to achieve back in 2K14, and then famously Shaquille O’Neal had an incredible 100 overall all the way back in 2K2.
