Its late August and, while many are lamenting the return of school or the end of summer, most of us are gearing up for another NFL season and, more importantly to millions out there, another Fantasy Football season.

This year, the fine people at OS, in partnership with Rotohog, have developed Operation Sports Fantasy Football (OSFF). As a 16-year veteran of fantasy football and a former sports writer, Ill be lacing them up this year as a resource both for fantasy advice (OSFF or otherwise) and as a guide to help you all navigate the new game.

For more information on how the game is played or to sign up for free, see the OSFF front page.

As you go through the available players on the trading floor, youll see some great buys and some overrated, overpriced players. Heres my starting list for each at the three key positions:

QB
Overrated
Tony Romo ($40) Romo has 1 fewer target this year in Big D and a running game that will get a tons of touches (Barber and sophomore stud Felix Jones). Romo is a strong fantasy QB, but at $40 in this game, is too steep.

Underrated Matt Hasselbeck ($17.25) Dont bet that the oft-injured Seattle QB from 08 will return with the addition of a premiere WR in T.J.Whos yo mamma (Championship! hope some of you get that one). Look at the Hasselbeck of 07: 4,000 passing yards, 63% completion percentage and 28 TDs.

RB
Overrated
LaDanian Tomlinson ($41) Im not saying LT wont come back near his Hall-of-Fame form, Im just not willing to throw top-of-the-line money at a player who is coming off an injury and has a backup who turned heads in LTs absence. Put your money elsewhere.

Underrated Ray Rice ($11.25) Rice could be the #1 in Baltimore and, though there will be a bit of a RB by committee, Rice is a star in the making and will see a lot of red zone touches this season. At this price, hes a steal for a #2 RB or #1 off your bench.

WR
Overrated
Terrell Owens ($29.00) Living in Upstate NY, where TO is everywhere, its easy to feel this guy is overhyped. And while hes a great receiver, there are two other big options for Trent Edwards in Buffalo and TO could easily get bored and pack it in when its -10, snowing and the Bills are 2-6 in early December.

Underrated DeSean Jackson ($14.25) For half the price of TO, you get a solid, up-and-coming WR with an extremely consistent QB and just enough speed at the other WR positions to draw attention. Jackson is set for a breakout year.

Lance Moore? If he has the same season as last year? Of course he is.

With Colston back healthy?

I dunno.

Colston at $22 is a steal. Sleeper at TE is Greg Olsen....Jay Cutler will be using Olsen as his go-to-guy.

Felix is definitely underrated. But Lance Moore... He's probably, at least, the fourth option in New Orleans behind Colston, Henderson, Shockey, and Bush.

And don't forget Pierre Thomas, whom people are really high on.

Yeah, lots of weapons in NO and, though Brees seems to get everyone the ball, Moore is $11 while Devery Henderson is $5.50.

I agree with the list that's made. Also, a TE sleeper is Brent Celek of the Eagles.

Housh is pretty good value at $17. Kevin Smith is good value at $22 as well.
Owens and Romo are wayyyyy over valued.
Giants defense is probably overvalued as well.

Chris cooley under valued for washington, Cambell has no good recievers and the O-line is weak so alot of dump offs to a very capable recieving TE, especially in the red zone.
