Sixty-four sports video games entered this tournament and now only a handful are left.

After several weeks of debate, the field for Operation Sports' Best Sports Game Tournament has been narrowed to just eight games.

Today the first two matchups are ready to go. So far, Tecmo Bowl has taken no prisoners, destroying every game it has faced off against. Will College Hoops 2k8 have the same fate? Or will the number 14 seed continue to surprise?

The other matchup should be very close as number one seed Mike Tyson's Punchout squares off against NFL 2k5. Will old school prevail? Or does perhaps the most complete football title of all time continue on to the Final Four?

Have your voice heard in the Operation Sports forums!

Tecmo Bowl. Wow. Fourth and Inches was actually a much better game.

I guess most of you who were Tecmo fans didn't have to many friends with a Commodore 64.

I guess that's where a lot of you cheesers in Madden got your start.

Tecmo was cheese personified.
