News Post

This week's OperationSports.com's "Waiver Wire" podcast is online and available for download.

This week, T.J. Cutini was joined by Chase Becotte and Matt Gagnon. The guys talked more about the recent baseball releases, mainly MLB2K8. They also touched on the latest in the Take Two Interactive saga, details on NCAA 09, and more. Also included at the end of this week's show is a rather humorous outtakes segment involving T.J. and his co-workers walking in on him as he records the show.

To listen to the show, either launch the media player in the upper right hand corner of the OS top menu bar or download the .mp3 directly right here.

Also, the iTunes news is coming this week so keep your eyes peeled for that.

iTunes eh? Sounds good. I am about to listen.

Granted I only listened to this weeks podcast, but are you guys going to touch non sports games a little more or mostly sports games? What about current sports stories?

Just curious.

Thanks for your feedback, brotha!

We'll mention non-sports games just a little but it's mostly a sports gaming podcast. We'll cover the big games, more than likely.

At the end of each week's show, we try to save some time to talk real sports stuff. You didn't hear it last week because we only had the first half of the show up.

Good stuff guys! I've been listening off and on at work, and I'm happy for iTunes soon, cause then it'll be really easy to listen on my way to work (less interruption).

Got it. I figured you guys would touch on games like GTA but I wasn't sure about games like RB6 Vegas 2 or anything.

I am listening now and I really, really enjoy it.

How long are the shows? I am about 20 minutes or so in...

They tend to hover around an hour or so. This week's went about an hour and a half, including the outtakes at the end.

In the old format it was split 50/50 between sports videogames and otherwise (this was when me and matty did it). While I'd say the two of us especially are gamers with just sports game leanings and thus would gladly discuss all sorts of videogames it just doesn't make sense to really talk about them at length on this podcast. However as it moves forward we'll always try to throw in regular videogames where applicable.

Yeah we tend to go OT when we talk about what games we've been playing lately because we tend to be playing the big titles. But lately things have been kinda dry. When GTA, MGS4, and other hit I'm sure they'll get some chatter...

Well it's more because you don't buy every game like I do so really it's all your fault for slowing me up.

This podcast, once you get the iTunes set up, will be a great addition to my daily/ weekly podcast playlists and listening!!

I see. Didn't know you guys were doing this before.

I really enjoy it. Ever think of having guest spots like other guys from the forums who do reviews, news etc...?
