"Open-world racing to return in the next Need for Speed.

Speaking at presentation to industry analysts yesterday, EA Games president Frank Gibeau revealed the future of the Need for Speed franchise, indicating that the next in the series wouldn't follow the ProStreet formula."

For as much as people accuse EA of milking and rehashing franchises, they certainly could have been better off to do that here. In my opinion, the past two NFS games have been ****.

They could have simply put out a NFS Most Wanted 2 and I would have been happy. That had everything a NFS game needs and exists for.

I liked Carbon,Pro Street definately lacked big time.Glad to see,they are going back to what made them big.

Just bring back cop chases. Hands down, Most Wanted was one of the most fun racing games of my life because of them.

Yep, didn't even take a serious look at the last two titles but give me the cop chases of Most Wanted and I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
