The weekend was pretty good, although I think I may have caught the cold/flu from Nat.

Helped my bro and dad setup a motion sensing outside light. I'm thinking about doing the same thing at my place.

Watched a fairly entertaining Pro Bowl. I don't know, I thought it was entertaining. Was happy to see T.O. catch a couple of TD's. "All Day" is a beast, he deserved the MVP.

Gearing up for the new Operation Sports redesign. We might have an announcement fairly soon.

What's up with you?

My wife is home today because her school was closed because of the cold. Sounds like there's another storm coming tonight, so she might have another day off tomorrow. I wish we got snow days at my work...

QOTD: Pretty good overall. Got plenty of gaming in (practiced my singing on Rock Band, started an NHL 2k8 franchise) and did some stuff around the house. Went to a hockey game on Saturday night. Cavs and Dayton Flyers losing was really the only bad thing.

Those things used to scare the crap out of me when I delivered pizzas in college. So do your pizza guy a favor...if you get one, kindly put it in the permanent-on position after you order a pizza. Your pizza guy will thank you.

QOTD: Went house shopping with the wife on Saturday. Buying our first home and we're nervous as hell about it. We found a great real estate agent though who specializes in working with first time buyers. So far, so good.

Also about had a heart attack last night during the Clemson-UNC game. I thought the 52-0 streak was coming to an end, but the Heels persevered in the end. They're now 53-0 all-time versus Clemson in Chapel Hill. Go Heels!

Good luck! The market is great for buyers right now, but the whole process is still a big pain. We had a good agent that helped us out; you'll be glad that you got one.

First place she showed us was a foreclosure. The house was awesome...only 3 years old...but it was torn all to crap. It's a shame. I don't understand how someone can put so much money into a house like that and then not take care of it. We told her thanks but no thanks on that one. We don't really want to get into a fixer-up'er.

QOTD - nothing special.. worked, and dinner last night with my dad and stepmom...

a great market for buying?? yikes - there are so many houses for sale where I live and none have been sold yet (including where I live).. the whole sub-prime morgage mess really did something...

Yeah, great time to be in the market to buy a house, plus loans are good right now. Just avoid ARMs like the plague, they will push them on you, run, run, run away.

QOTD - Relaxing weekend, wife wanted to see Fool's Gold, so we saw that Saturday, terrible movie. Didn't do much else but lay around and watch TV, if we went outside we would have froze to death anyway. It was 4 degrees actual temp when I got up this morning, and -17 with wind chill. Lovely weather.

That's because it's a buyer's market, the sellers aren't in any power, but they all are in ARM loans, and stuck, so they have to get enough to pay off the house. So many people are losing their homes around me as well and can't sell them.

QOTD - On Saturday I watched the Notre Dame vs. Marquette BB game. I finished a paper for my online class. On Sunday I went to work for a few hours. After I got out of work I went and picked up a 40gb PS3 along with Drake's Fortune, COD4 and The Show 07.
